This is an image of the train whistle that cj.com send when you earn your first $100
I just got mine in the mail today, i had to make a special request to get it though, i guess cj are too busy
http://sparesite3.freehosting.net/images/whistle.jpg
if you cant see the picture due to my dodgy free server please go here (http://sparesite3.freehosting.net)
i included the snikers to give you an idea of the scale, its so long and thick baby /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
sorry about the image quality, i just chucked them into my scanner due to time limitations
the train whistle makes a wonderful sound, i can see that amtrack express rolling down the track right now
the driver is no ordinary vandal, oh no
he's hanging on to the deadmans handle and he's never gonna let go
speeding into the night with the moon in his eyes
heading into the new sunrise
its a loaded son of a gun heading over the top
he's never gonna slow down, he's never gonna stop
i also received a commission junction pen in a case that also has the cj logo on it, its cool, piccy on request
special thanks to all the everyday heroes at cj, from a geek thats not worthy

Haiko is it true that the one they sent to you was the prototype?

Deelz,
Nope /infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif
Mine broke (the glue on the top), but I still love it ... and have told merchants to do something similar! Most of all ... I wish I had a CJ Hat (hint, hint Todd tongue.gif ).

I got a whistle and a very nice shirt. But that was a welcome package as a merchant. Sold the whistle in a garage sale. /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif But still have the shirt. I never did receive anything for earning my first $100 on the affiliate side.

I want a whistle, how exactly do you get one?
eaglefire
July 15th, 2002, 02:08 PM
I think you get one when you've made your first hundred bucks.

I've made a few thousand dollars and haven't seen one. If it wasn't for the picture I would think it was an urban legend. I would rather have a t shirt or a hat than I would a whistle... What the hell am I going to do with a whistle anyway?

I blow mine every 100 sales. My dog sings along, he's quite talented.
You can get a train whistle from trade shows that cj.com attend. They give them away.
I wish cj would offer some commissionable merchandise. I would have the hat, the t-shirt, mug and mouse mat. If they can get todd and david elam to dress up as superheroes and pose I would have a poster of that too.

It's sad...
If Quiet777 were here there would be an edited image with them in the same picture. Can anyone else do it?

I used to be able to do that stuff but I've lost my touch. Somewhere on a Dutch freeserver there's a photo of Bela Karolyi's head on King Kong's body, carrying Kerri Strug up the Empire State Building.

Some days I don't know where the heck I am so I figured I should put that. That is also why I went for direct deposit and not paper checks...

I couldn't get a good picture of David, but here's a good shot of Lex and Todd on one of their daily flights.
As you can see, Lex is demonstrating his powers of invisibility, and Todd is making use of his X-Ray vision.

Just for that Joey, they had better have a whistle stashed away somewhere that they can send to you.
Great job. Outstanding!
