Hello everyone,

I thought I would add our fishing image with this 526 lb. Blue Fin Tuna Fish I caught. I'm a liitle soaked, but well worth it after a 40 minute landing battle. http://abestweb.com/banana.gif

Now there's a tuna that won't fit in the can...not unless you enlarge the bathroom..

Charlie ... http://abw.infopop.cc/smilies/parrot.gif

If they won't adopt and feed a bird ..flip them one! Where's the love and show me the money?

I have to admit ... this particular fishing excursion was on a Bayliner boat and not my normal commercial fishing boat with winches, etc. It took me and the guy taking picture over an hour to get the fish in the boat without bruising the meat to ship to Japan.

Got it to the dock and had it shipped to the Japan fish auction market and if memory serves me correctly we got just over $17 a pound after all expenses. Not a bad days pay considering I was only fishing for less than 3 hours when I hooked up with charlie can-can tuna.

The domestic market (StarKist, Genesis, etc.) here in the US which buys what the Japanese refuse to eat (what does that say?) at an average of $3 - $6 per pound. http://abw.infopop.cc/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
