Yes, the name of the band is Sunder.

We normally play out only once or twice a month as we have a somewhat unique set of circumstances that we have to deal with....our Bass player currently lives in Seattle where he owns and runs his own business...he drives out here to practice and play with us as much as possible but it's not as often as it would be if he were currently living here.

We normally play in Missoula, Bozeman, Great Falls and then over in Tacoma as well. We've done shows in other places too but those are the ones we frequent the most.

We actually just landed a show opening up for the band PRONG over in Tacoma...should be a cool one.

Well, I probably shouldn't really promote my band here in any way so I'll say this...If anyone has questions about my band and would like to know more please PM me or send me an email and I'll respond that way.

Excellent music. Who are the band's influences? I hear some 80's punk - or possibly a sprinkle of White Zombie mixed with some Rollins Band and Rage Against the Machine?

Wow Todd...thanks for the compliments. And yeah you are definitely on the right track for the influences.

We have a really unique and diverse set of influences. Our Drummer is a huge Tool fan as well as newer bands like Mudvayne, Rage Against The Machine, MESHUGGAH and Opeth (if you haven't heard of these two bands check them out - amazing).

I'm personally a fan of Metallica, Black Label Society, Alice In Chains, among much more...blues, jazz, classical.

Our singer/2nd guitar player is a huge AC/DC fan, Black Sabbath..old school stuff as well as some really new bands like Mastodon and Lamb Of God.

Our Bass Player is a huge Peter Gabriel fan...Juno Reactor (killer band), Critter's Buggin, Jam bands all kinds of stuff.

We're fans of so many genres that it makes things really interesting (at least for us).

Glad you enjoyed our music. If we ever get a gig out there I'll let you know. We're recording a New CD very soon...I'll let you know when it's available.
