Ben.

Problems and motivation aside, he shook up a long standing problem and gave the complaints against it new life.

Good nomination and I would like to nominate Kellie, even though no article was written about her, she most definately has been quoted as an expert, and has worked her @55 off for years in helping merchants and affiliates alike.

Not meant as a "tit for tat" post, but definately think it's deserved.

My vote is for Kellie too!

My vote is for Kellie as well, this is not meant as a slight on all the good work Ben has done if it was possible I would vote for them both. Ben certainly seemed to bring more limelight to the subject and made other medias sit up and take notice and bring it more to the publics eyes but Kellie has been doing this for a long time now and it must have taken a heck of a lot of time away from her affiliate business.

Plus I think she is a little cutie, far far better looking than Ben ;)

This is just the nomination process, not the final voting!

</Reminder> In that case I would nominate both Ben and Ms.B. I would also like to nominate Haiko if I am allowed as without him none of this would be possible and a heck of a lot of affiliates would still be earning very little.

I'd vote for Gordo's new secretary who made a big hit at the IAB/DMA & LS network summit. The wardrobe malfunction was not his fault. Since she's unable to spell in any forum, my vote would go to Ms.B. as she's never waivered from doing things in the best interests of the affiliate community. She, unlike Haiko can talk to many of the darkhat players without spitting on them. Now Ben is runner up and deserves a night on the town with Gordo's secretary.

I nominate Haiko for his extreme dedication to affiliate marketing and his back-breaking efforts in making a real community out of affiliate marketers.

I second that vote for Haiko. Exactly what Akiva said.

Haiko has been dedicated to affiliate marketing and I have seen him here posting, fixing and fighting back 7 days a week 365 days a year, with Zero Tolerance for affiliates, networks, merchants and others that have tried to break his efforts to make this, like Akiva says "a real community out of affiliate marketers".

Haiko has help many folks here, including myself, and I have NEVER, EVER heard or seen him ask for anything in return. To me that speaks, SERVICE. He also promised new, faster, and better ABW, and here we are.

For that I say: "The Best Service To Industry 2004" = abestweb.com (Haiko)

BTW, of course I also nominate Kellie, as last year and many years before that, she has kept the networks and merchants on their toes to help affiliates.

I wish we could just check the box at the top and vote for the party. I'd have Haiko, Ben, Kellie, and several others on the ticket. But I have to go with Haiko. If it weren't for him I probably would know anything about the work of Ben or Kellie or anybody else. Staying up all night migrating the forum, that's service!

I have to vote for ABW and Haiko.
When I look at my affiliate earnings this time last year compared to now and realize my $$$ started growing about the time I joined ABW and really started AM..

I go with the majority here!

ABW gets my vote.

My vote goes to ABW.

There are many many reasons for the nomination as I can think of. When I joined ABW I knew only that there is something called AM and very basic idea of how it works. But after joining ABW I realized there is much more to AM than just creating pages. I discoverd 100s of tools, tips & above all the posts from the veterans. It would have taken me months to gather all this information from different resources but I found them all at one place at ABW!

If somehow the 2nd vote counts I would vote for Kellie for her efforts in helping the ABWers and the Affiliate community as a whole.

BLFH (Kellie)

Publisher - Revenue

I may be a little bias but doesn't Revenue Magazine deserve a mention?
We have published 5 issues, worked with over 400 Merchants, Affiliates, Industry Experts* & writers to create a real world magazine for affiliate marketing.

We haven't always got it right but our hearts and minds are committed to helping move the affiliate community forward.

Love ABestWeb, Ben & Kellie just thought we were worthy of a mention.

We’ll keep working hard so maybe next year I don’t have to blow our own trumpet!!

Cheers
Nick Smith

Haiko, for providing the means of communication and keeping such an unruly lot in some sort of order.
