I would nominate Akiva's Product Showcase Creator, I know it was from '03 but I don't think anything has come close to deposing it this year. It is a super tool for people who are not very good at coding.

Dynamic Templates
The Irv's template got me started and now I'm running several programs templates because I learned how to tweak it to fit my style.

Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but to me the Best Affiliate Marketing Tool I use on 2004 and still use today it's none other than ABestWeb.
Thanks to ABW, in 2004 I learned more than I could have learned elsewhere about parasites, cookie stuffers, crooked entities, etc, etceteras.
Most of the other tools are mainly programs specific but, the knowledge that can be learned on ABW about Affiliate Marketing, to me it's one the best tool around.
Since knowledge is power, I feel more powerful today about Affiliate Marketing than a year ago, even if don't use all of that knowledge that I have gained here on ABW to my advantage.

I nominate the Datafeed cleaner tool from AMWSO, http://www.amwso.com/affiliate_tools.php, definately a lot of promise, and it's still in beta, so you might be able to get your suggestions and help make it better.

While other tools have come and gone, it is still MS Word Pad and WS_FTP that get me through every day.

SSH isn't a tool - it's a protocol, putty (http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html)is a great tool for SSH
