Fishingbooksandvideos.com offers about 5000 books, videos, gifts, and other products related to fishing, fly fishing and hunting. We have a categorized datafeed and offer 8% commission.
Our SAS signup page is at http://www.shareasale.com/shareasale.cfm?merchantID=6716

I am open to suggestions and requests and can be reached at info at fishingbooksandvideos dot com . If you need some special creatives (we have a few at SAS, including a discount coupon) , just ask me.

I'd like to clarify a few things about our datafeed. If you are planning to use the datafeed, note that category fields that should be used are the custom fields named "Main Category" and "Sub Category", not the SAS-defined fields. Also, there are 2 description fields - "Description" and "HTML Description". The first one is a brief description and the second one is a detailed description. The 2nd one contains HTML - I know from this forum that many affiliates don't like the idea of HTML-formated description, but these are often many paragraphs and without some formatting would be a mess. The first "Description" doesn't have HTML in it.

If you are going to promote specific products, I can post a list of best-selling items. Also the datafeed will be sorted by most popular item (it is not now, but it will be after next time we update it).

I just started working with the FishingBooksAndVideos.com datafeed, and I was astounded to find that many titles in the datafeed are not actually in stock at the merchant's site -- and to make matters worse, the merchant entices customers to try to find the book at Alibris.com and provides their own affiliate link to Alibris.

This isn't just offensive, it is disgusting. I won't do business with such an unethical merchant!

Repeat that "Bummer" for me, too! I've got an outdoor/hiking/camping site I'd love to get a feed for using fishing videos. (I haven't looked at the merchant info yet, I'm just basing that on the comments here.)

Ah, well. The search goes on.

EDITED TO AD THIS:

Something's really goofy here. I just went to my SAS account, searched for "fishingbooks" and came up with this merchant listed as "Striped Ostrich." I've already joined their program some time back when I first came to SAS -- a year or two ago, I think.

But why, if they've changed or revamped the program, do they try to style themselves as a new or different merchant than Striped Ostrich? And why does it say they have "2,473 products" on the merchant summary/"Get Links" page -- yet their first creative is a banner touting "3000+ FISHING BOOKS"?

I sense a great deal of confusion here with their presentation and/or the way they're setting up their program.

Yup, think I'll pass on this one.
