Bare Necessities ( www.BareNecessities.com ), a leading Internet retailer of brand name intimate apparel, underwear and sleepwear, is seeking an Affiliate Marketing Manager to maximize the performance of its online affiliate program. This individual will help to develop, implement and manage a full spectrum of affiliate marketing strategies including affiliate retention, activation and acquisition; datafeed distribution; site auditing and communication campaigns. This job is an ideal position for a seasoned affiliate marketer who is highly-motivated to achieve results and eager to move beyond traditional online marketing techniques.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Motivate existing affiliates to optimize performance
* Identify and recruit new affiliates
* Create and distribute affiliate newsletters and other affiliate communications
* Monitor and analyze affiliate program performance
* Help manage the distribution of product datafeed to affiliates
* Develop one-on-one relationships with top-performing affiliates
* Conduct competitive analysis
* Market Bare Necessities promotions through affiliate channels
* Work with graphic designer to create banners, images and other marketing materials
* Work with technical staff to enhance affiliate tools
* Regularly review affiliate sites and marketing practices, insuring compliance with Bare Necessities policies.
REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelors Degree, degree in marketing or communications preferred
* 3+ years experience in affiliate marketing
* Familiarity with affiliate marketing networks (LinkShare, Commission Junction, BeFree, Performics) and Search Engine Marketing
* Strong analytical, writing and creative thinking skills
* Effective negotiation skills
* Knowledge of HTML, Photoshop and other Web tools a plus
* Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects at once
* Proficient in MS Office
