If you have any suggestions about the PSC applications such as new features etc., please post them here. We have some new features in mind already, however we want feedback from the users http://abw.infopop.cc/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Thanks in advance!
First off, I want to say that I love the PCS and that I wish more sponsors would use it.
One feature that I would like to see is the ability to individually select which products to feature. For example, on FuntoCollect, if you select Baby Bedding, there are 100+ images and links. I may not want to display 100+, but if I select to display 24 images, I get the first 24 in the category. I would like to individually select which 24 to display. Maybe a check box or something to make my selections.
I hope that I've explained this properly.
Now we need more sponsors to use it!!

Full customization would be ideal, such as font, thumbnail size, or no thumbnail, omit prices, etc.
Perhaps have an option to have it as a javascript include, if that's possible.
The only thing else I can think of is somehow making it be able to be updated automatically...
Even w/out those features, I love it...I wish more merchants would sign on! http://abw.infopop.cc/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I too think your PSC's are excellent tools and are fine the way they are but if you were to make any improvements here's what I'd like to see.
Perhaps a field or two to put in your own style class tags instead of fonts and table color backgrounds.
I'd like the product titles in as alt tags for the images.
What about a different section at the top to create a meta keyword tag with the product titles already in? Am I being too lazy here ?
And the table to be split if the number of products go over a set amount, say 10 rows of products then a new table would start.
Select what elements are shown or not, price, image or description and the ability limit the description length.
and yes, a dynamic psc would kick behind thank you very much.

Hi Again,
I agree that having the PSC being dynamic would be great. But I would like to have that as an option if I decide that I don't like how or what the sponsor is adding to it. An example would be that if FuntoCollect decides to add adult toys to the Disney section. ( I like FuntoCollect, that's why I always use them as an example http://abw.infopop.cc/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif )
Also, Full customization would be ideal, such as font, thumbnail size, or no thumbnail, omit prices, etc. like Celicaphile said.
Also, the table to be split if the number of products go over a set amount, say 10 rows of products then a new table would start, like markschok said. Maybe a prompt for me to select how many rows before a break in the table. Then it would be easy for me to add a banner or test ad in there.
Good Luck with it, but please don't ruin it by trying to improve it. One of the reasons that it's good is because it's simple!

I like the suggestions so far and most of them will be implemented. And as it was pointed out, one of the major advantages of the PSC is it's simple-to-use interface. It will always remain easy to use.
As for a dynamic PSC, we are currently in development and should have a beta version ready to go within two weeks. Merchants would have to license the Dynamic PSC seperately. It's gonna rock.
If anyone has more suggestions, I'm here listening...
Hi the only thing that i would like is to have a product name and link under the picture as someone mentioned earlier. simple

I already visited with Akiva about this but thought I would post it here for others too. I would really like to see descriptions even if it's just a snippet of the description

In general the descriptions are the merchants choice whether or not to display. Most merchants do nto have a short description so it skews the table. I guess we can limit the character length...
I mentioned this in another post somewhere. I'd like to see the ability to split the products into multiple pages. If I ask for all products, sometimes I get a very long page with so many products that the pages load very slowly. Need some way to specify number of products per page, and number of pages.
And I was going to mention dynamically updating pages, but you're way ahead of me.
Thanks http://66.132.187.8/smilies/yes.gif

I love the flexibility of the PSC. I wish more merchants would use it. I especially like the simplicity of the HTML it generates as it gives me greater flexibility in how I display the products and I don't have to undo a bunch of things to get it to fit the look and feel of my sites.
More menu driven options would be nice. Price option, dimensions option, description option, etc.
I'd also like to have more options in terms of how the output is sorted. For instance, FTC has dozens of Dr. Seuss products that are output in a very mixed-up fashion. Green Eggs and Ham products are mixed in with Cat In The Hat products, etc. Right now the only way to separate them is to run several different searches to get them to separate out. If they were organized by sub-category it would be possible to generate the entire category but broken out by sub-category. It's not a big deal but it would save us some time.
On a side note, Akiva will FTC have the new roosters category available through the PSC sometime soon? (Fingers crossed.)
Thanks for asking what we need! http://66.132.187.8/smilies/yelclap.gif

Count me in for wanting to be able to specify which products to include if a merchant has a large number of items. If we didn't want to display many products and perhaps only make a vertical banner, we could just choose a few products.
