Job is telecommute. No fixed location is required.
Work will lead to other opportunities especially if this first deal is a success.
The following will hopefully explain the role we require to be filled better;

- Create an initial plan to aggressively recruit new affiliates (including CJ plan)
- Utilize multiple communication techniques (cold calling, e-mail marketing, etc.) to source, identify, and recruit new affiliates
- Negotiate advertising terms and execute agreements with Affiliates (including standard Affiliate terms and conditions during Web-based registration)
- Manage marketing campaigns across all Affiliate sites to ensure registrant, subscriber, and sales targets are achieved while keeping cost per acquisition metrics within goals
- Manage day to day communication with Affiliates to ensure partners have necessary creative, tracking URLs, reporting, and other materials necessary to execute and optimize advertising campaigns
- Work with graphic designers to ensure materials are up to specification and give out the desired message.
- Constantly work with Top 25 Affiliates to identify new promotional opportunities on their sites as well as ensuring that existing marketing campaigns are being optimized
- Manage and help write communications to Affiliates
- Resolve Affiliate issues and concerns as needed, including monitoring an Affiliate Forum (Web-based message board which would be set-up as part of the fee) on a daily basis
- Produce and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports measuring the performance of the Affiliate Program, in particular the ratio of customer acquisition costs to sales
- Work with our client on internal tracking and database issues to ensure high levels of data integrity
- Manage day to day communication with Affiliates to ensure partners have necessary creative, tracking URLs, reporting, and other materials necessary to execute and optimize advertising campaigns

Sounds like something Andy or Chris are more then capable of handling if their baskets aren't too full. Any hint on what the verticle is, or if its a product line or lead program.

I can't go into too much depth about the vertical here. However I can say that there are a range of legitimate products selling B2B and B2C (not just via affiliates - wide marketing mix) so there is good opportunity for a freelancer to earn from each product sale.
