We've just launched our affiliate program on SAS - merchant 7338.

Safety Girl is the only roadside emergency kit for women that contains the most important emergency of all -- chocolate!

Safety Girl Roadside Emergency Kits make a fun and useful gift for any woman who drives a vehicle. Huge audience, nothing else like it on the market, an easy sell.

The kit contains serious roadside essentials like instructions to change a flat tire, emergency blanket, etc., but it also has other "emergency" items like chocolate, nail file, aromatherapy headache remedy and more.

At $39.95 (with free shipping and a bonus lip moisturizer with every online order), it's the "can't go wrong" gift for any woman who drives.

Safety Girl has been featured in numerous fashion magazines and style features -- it's not your typical emergency kit. One look at the Safety Girl logo and you'll see why over 10,000 people fell in love with our product in our first year without advertising of any kind.

Our commissions begin at 15%. We'd be thrilled to have you on board!

All the best,

Kim

Hi Kim, :howdy:

I have reason to believe that your program is going to be a hit.

I went to your site: http://www.safetygirl.com/ (http://www.safetygirl.com/) and I like it, I will join your program soon.

You have a simple but, very clean site, so I can see many http://www.abestweb.com/smilies/dollars.gif sales of the "Safety Girl - emergency kit for women."

BTW, your FAQ page have good answers. http://www.abestweb.com/smilies/wink.gif but, you must fix this page: http://www.safetygirl.com/faq/press/index.html (http://www.safetygirl.com/faq/press/index.html) it don't look good. :smash:

Note: You must post a link in your Sig. http://abestweb.com/smilies/idea.gif to your site, like I did and also post a link to your SaS program so you can make it easier for affiliates to check out your program.

Thanks so much for the feedback! Greatly appreciated. :smiling:

Here is the link to my site: http://www.safetygirl.com/

And here is the link to my SAS program sign up: http://www.shareasale.com/shareasale.cfm?merchantID=7338

Also, I just turned on the "Auto Deposit" feature on SAS.

Sal - re: the page you said needed work- I didn't think I even had a page with that URL and I can't seem to find anything there. I've asked my web ladies to look into it. Thanks for the heads up!

All the best,

Kim

Cool idea and nice site. Do you have any pics of the kit opened and contents displayed, am I missing it somewhere? I see the box, I see the contents, but not the box opened.

Thanks,

Chet

Thanks, Chet!

Unfortunately, we do not have any photos of the kit + contents all in one shot. We don't have plans for a new photo shoot right away, but I will make sure we get one like that in the next round. Great suggestion. Thanks!

We have a photo of the kit, and we also have a photo of the contents -- but Chet was asking about a single photo that shows the kit opened up showing the contents (all in the same photo).

Hey Safety Girl - how about an auto approve so I don't have to wait a "few days" to hear if approved or not.

Look, forget what Chet wants, (Chet is an http://www.abestweb.com/smilies/oldman.gif old man.) I rather promote a mini skirt than a bikini.

I like to use my imagination http://www.abestweb.com/smilies/love.gif than see it all in one shot... http://www.abestweb.com/smilies/yikes.gif

Do you know what I meant? http://www.abestweb.com/smilies/sagrin.gif

Nice site, idea and offer!

I edited the first post and am copying it to our non SaS new merchant thread for added exposure.

Thanks Haiko! Much appreciated!

Ebudae -- re: approvals. With a couple of the national brands in our kit, we have to be a little bit cautious. The wait's never a few days -- in fact, most often just a few hours at most. I promise! Thanks for the feedback.

Looks like this thread sure got truncated! Ha! It is a shortened copy of this thread, I think! Or, a split or something. Strange they both have the same title.

Safety Girl - I have a suggestion. Where I live in the South it gets pretty hot for a good portion of the year..

The chocolate would probally melt, so was thinking maybe a kit for "warm weather" states. It could have some kind of hard candy instead.

Got approved and the links are going up!

Thanks!!

When I tried to view the site I got this message.

"The Safety Girl website is currently not available—How about checking out some other great products?" Then there were links to these 4 sites:

Très Femme - Designer Sue Messent’s collection of girly girl accessories, jewelry, home décor items and gifts.

Bug & Pickle - Treats for new mums & babes who could use a little pampering.

Royal T - T-shirts and other clothing with empowering, uplifting slogans.

Safety Chick - A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do... the ultimate guide to living smart & safe.

Does the Safty Girl cookie follow the links? If not, would I be sending free traffic to those sites? Are the links other sites belonging to Safty Girl? I'd like to find out some details before I apply to a program that sends it's visitors to other sites.

added: I just clicked the SAS link in the first post and got "The page cannot be found". Is this program gone?

Lectrickitty,

You didn't get their last email?

Dear Affiliates,

It is with regret that I'm announcing that our company Safety Girl is being sold. At this time, it's unclear whether or not the new owner will take on an affiliate program but we do know that the website will be shut down at the end of the month for the change over, and it's unclear how long it will be down.

I will continue to honor commissions on sales received up until the bitter end when the website goes offline at the end of June, but I completely understand if you do not want to put your efforts into promoting a program with a short future.

I can't thank you enough for your efforts and I'm sorry that our run ended up being such a short one.

Wishing you all the best for the future.

Many thanks!

Kim

Sal, thanks for the info.

I didn't get email because I'm not affiliated with them. I was thinking about joining their program because it looks like they might fit in real good on one of my sites.

*sigh* I was all hot to trot on this product but can't seem to find them in SAS. Any heads up on a new affil program for Safety Girl would be appreciated.
