Who's your worst converting merchant that you have coupons for. For me Reflect.com and Computer Geeks. Used to have them site, not sure i should add them back. Haven't heard to many good things. There are others i'm sure i never had a sale with, gotta check.

This is a great topic, but a little hard for me to respond to. We have quite a few merchants on our site that we just haven't had time to promote. They're on the site, but we either just have a generic link or no link at all.

I'd love to hear about the companies that you did everything you could to promote, but just didn't reap any rewards. That's what I, personally, would love to get out of this thread.

And, oh yeah. Good riddance, J. Crew.

Some other non-converting merchants that come to mind, could be just me, who knows:

baby bazaar
crossing pointe
brooks brothers
batteries.com
abt electronics
dog toys
dogshealth
healthypooch

lots more, of course this year i have some first time sales from merchants so who knows.

I do very well with Brooks Brothers.

The problem with promoting them in coupon site is that, they're a high-end apparel store. Not exactly the best place a coupon-hunter would shop, I'd think.

About, ABT Electronics, they convert OK, but reverse a lot.

I've found ink coupons to be pretty worthless...

Really? That surprises me. Do you have any ink merchants that actually do well? PM if you want to keep this thread on topic. http://abw.infopop.cc/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

However, I usually dump merchants I don't do many sales with.

I do do well with
baby bazaar, crossing pointe, brooks brothers, and 123 inkjet commissions are steady and very good for me.

I agree with ink coupons, and also any gift certificate coupons. Jewelry store coupons are not very worthwhile either. $10 off $250 or $25 off $500 is hardly worth my effor to post.

I'd have to say the gift certificate places. Hard as they try, I don't think I've ever had a sale with GiveAnything or GiftCertificates.com in the 4 years I've been up.

Ink itself isn't a bad product--I just haven't found the ink coupons to *increase* sales. It sells the same whether I run those coupons or not!

I've PM'd you with more commentary, EmDub.

The vitamin stores have done well in the past, but now seem to have slacked up a bit. The pet stores will work with the targeted buyers (IMO). I haven't done as well withconverting cosmetic discounts, and coupons as I thought, due to the fact I have so many visitors coming to some pages at my site looking for them.

Some of my ads do well converting, but mostly for shopping in general, not just a specific item, or service.
