Alright, since it's this slow at ABW today (regardless of it being Monday), let me show you a funny picture at least. Many of you might've seen the famous movie by Nikita Mikhalkov "Sibirskij tsiryulnik (The Barber of Siberia)". Here's an elaboration on one of the scenes shown there (the original movie had Nicholas II and his son Alexei here):
"This Doesn't Happen Very Often In The Soviet Union" by Wally McNamee, 1973
Soviet General Secretary Leonid Brezhnev eyes actress Jill St. John at a poolside reception hosted by President Nixon in California.

Here's another good one on Leonid Ilyich Brezhnev (and on USSR-Germany friendship):
Hmmmm. They seem so passionate about what they are doing, too!

What do the inscriptions say and why are they kissing?! :)
Inscription reads: "God, help me survive amidst this deadly love" (says it in two languages: Russian and German). The picture shows the famous kiss between Erich Honecker and Leonid Brezhnev in 1979. Such a kiss was a sign of communist solidarity, performed whenever the Soviet bloc's rulers met in public. The painting/poster is sometimes called "The Kiss of Death between Brezhnev and Honecker", other times - "The Fraternal Kiss". It was painted by the famous Soviet painter Dimitrij Vrubel. As far as I understand, it was on the Berlin Wall (dividing East Germany and West Germany). Here's a picture of it there:
he is saying,, this is what Ukraine can do about Gas.

Been looking for a good picture of Moscow's mayor Yuri Luzhkov in his famous leather cap (as we are going to be selling one of these shortly!), and found this:
Yeltsin is in the foreground. Luzhkov is the guy with the hand in his mouth. :)

Been looking for a good picture of Moscow's mayor Yuri Luzhkov in his famous leather cap (as we are going to be selling one of these shortly!)...
Ok!! The cap is up at http://www.russianlegacy.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=32_45_146&products_id=3566&osCsid=b00a97bf3c213cd3e2f8db4ebc069a41
Should be our next bestselling item, as it is considerably less expensive than the bestselling Lenin's leather cap (http://www.russianlegacy.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=3287&osCsid=b00a97bf3c213cd3e2f8db4ebc069a41) which now tops the bestsellers of the Leather Caps (http://www.russianlegacy.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=32_45_146&osCsid=b00a97bf3c213cd3e2f8db4ebc069a41) section.
Look for the LUZHKOV CAP in the next datafeed (in the beginning of the next week). ;)
