We don't think so! That's why we have invested in building the best affiliate support site, http://www.4inkjetsaffiliates.com (http://www.4inkjetsaffiliates.com/). We know that affiliates are our partners and integral to our business.

I apologize about the cheesy marketing tactics, my first post was getting lonely so I figured we needed to make a bit of noise.

4inkjets has the best inkjet affiliate program - PERIOD! I will explain why.

First lets start with commissions - We pay 25% commissions on all our products, we don't tier our comissions based on OEM, we pay for every sale you bring and don't penalize you for giving your consumer free choice.

25% - but that's crazy - :bonk:
You have probably seen other inkjet merchant’s offer 27%, or 30% some even have 35% commissions - so why promote us if we are offering less?

Don't let those high commissions fool you.

http://abestweb.com/ben.gif

Some of our competitors would need to pay 58% on their current average sale of $30 to get a $17 payout!

So why is our average sale so much higher?
Two Reasons - Firstly, check our competitors, we carry a much larger variety of Laser Toners, and this pushes up our average purchase. This also helps conversions because we carry the products our competitors don't. Secondly, we have great deals on Bulk Sets, a lot of people buy these because of the price breaks.

Why are our conversions higher?
We have a great site, a lot of products, excellent quality merchandise and amazing prices. We are a Bizrate Platinum Customer Service Winner for Two years in a row.

Affiliate Support - We are dedicated to our affiliates 1000%. Look at some of the other inkjet merchants posts. They talk about how they have a data feed, but only available upon request. How annoying is that? Affiliates have enough to worry about without chasing down Affiliate Managers to give them something that should be readily available. Not only do we have the data feed, we have it in PHP, JSP, XML and CSV. You just name your flavor. We offer you lists of tried and true keywords as well as lists of our best selling products. Check out http://www.4inkjetaffiliates.com (http://www.4inkjetaffiliates.com/).

We also offer something no one else does. Printer lists! This is great because a lot of people don't know what cartridge they have, but they do now what type of printer they have and prefer to search by that. our printer feed is also available in PHP, JSP, XML and CSV.

4inkjets believes that support isn't something affiliates should look for, it is something that should be offered.

We are always looking for ways to improve our affiliate program. All you have to do is send me an email. I love hearing from you guys.

Best,

Ben Chafetz

Agree with the others and think the site's really helpful. You've done a really nice job on it. :) Not sure anybody else has the same problem, but I'm not able to download keyword lists that are in spreadsheets, etc. Very much appreciate having a link online that I'm able to see the keyword list.:)
Nobody has commented on it, so guess it's up to me. Like the cute little bird on the site that reminds me of the Fruit Loops bird. lol :) Definitely am going to check out the rest of the affiliate center site:)

I have been an affiliate of 4inkjets! for over two years now and I have to agree that they are the best inkjet merchant out there, period. Last year I made tens of thousands of dollars in commission from them, about 4x what I made with their closest ink competitor. Personally my stats are a little better than their averages posted above. My conversion ratio is 5.7% with an average order of $92.68. This translates to thousands of dollars worth of sales every month. Plus Ben is one of the best affiliate managers out there. While I usually spend days waiting for a reply from affiliate managers when there's a problem, Ben actually proactively emails me before there's a problem. I cannot say enough good things about them.

Thank you everybody for the positive feedback. It is much appreciated. I have a lot of new features that will be released in late November that should help a lot of people. Please keep the ideas and feedback coming. My goal is to build a site that cuts your workload down tremendously and gives the knowledge and tools you need to succeed.

Hi, Ben,

I have been thinking lately of adding another inkjet seller to my web site.

So, I took a quick look at your home page and some other pages.

I was very impressed at how fast your pages loaded up on my dialup connection as well as the logic behind your page layouts.

Also to your credit, I didn't notice any Flash graphics on the pages I visited.

What on page high conversion tools do you offer affiliates? Like all non e-mail spamming affiliates I have to battle the cookie washers in your program. I see 4 ink companies with double your EPC and all entice and wink at Ink spammers, cookie stuffers and those riding the BHO keyword theftware trains.

Putting up a Product Showcase creator and the wonderful GoldenCan conversion tool whould indicate your not just another ink spam recruiter. I pre-sell Ink supplies by targeting shoppers before the click. Like your boss ... I'm tasked to sell Ink ... not coupons for Ink. The above moves would sure ring true with this affiliate crowd who have had their fill of un-ethical Inkjet/laser cartridge hawking middlemen armed with a tricks for clicks affiliate force.

I setup my 2 nephew with a 100% ethical Inkjet/Laser toner outfit last springtime. They spent months telemarketing and individually e-mailing corporate and school accounts before shipping off to Iraq to fight the War on Terrorism in October. Those efforts now bring them in over 4000.00 monthly from the accounts they setup. That Inkjet supplier, as of now, still refuses to work with the sleazy antics of affiliates. They did take my advice on a site redesign substancially improving their already great conversion ratios.

RadarCat - thank you, we have given a lot of thought to our site, we are actually relaunching the site in Q1 with a whole new look and feel, this new site will be extremely user friendly. One of the things we did with the data feed was to give the products in the description more concise and KW loaded content that was different from the site becuase we didnt want anyone to be penalized for having the same descriptions as we did on our site. I would love any additional tips. I really appreciate any feedback. and you can always email me at ben@4inkjets.com.

ecomcity - Wow- I have been watching you post for a while - I am surpised I got the attention of a heavy hitter like you.

What on page high conversion tools do you offer affiliates? Like all non e-mail spamming affiliates I have to battle the cookie washers in your program. I am not sure what you mean by "On page high conversion tools" are there actual tools that are out there that we don't offer? i would love to learn more about these. I always assumed our prices and excellent customer service record (bizrate 2x winner etc etc) has enticed customers to convert. We try to keep our site clutter free and try to make it simple so they find what they want.

I see 4 ink companies with double your EPC - Actually our real EPC is a lot higher, we got hit in August by an affiliate who sent us 80,000 clicks in two days and CJ is being a real pain and not deleting those clicks, no doubt becuase they want 123inkjets their sister company to enjoy having a higher EPC than us for the first time in 2 years.
and all entice and wink at Ink spammers, cookie stuffers and those riding the BHO keyword - theftware trains. We have strict policy on no spamming and it is enforced. CookieStuffers - Not familiar with this term, are you talking about the ShopAtHomes and stuff like that? BHO - can you give me some examples of this, would that be like Amazon Toolbar? or WhenU or something like that? If you find an affiliate of ours who is not ethical please let me know me know ASAP. The problem is we get about 60 affiliate applications a day. My affiliate teams does thier best to check them but that is a hard job being that affilaites are not required by CJ to put a lot about thier companies into the form. i have been asking CJ for over a year to make a more detailed affiliate form, How the affiliates promote traffic, PPC, SEO, BHO, Coupons, Rebates, An easy way for me to see this and to review any links or privacy policies that the affiliates employ.
Putting up a Product Showcase creator and the wonderful GoldenCan conversion tool whould indicate your not just another ink spam recruiter. Thank You, we have a lot more tools coming out- but I am keeping them under wraps until launch. I pre-sell Ink supplies by targeting shoppers before the click. Like your boss ... I'm tasked to sell Ink ... not coupons for Ink. Yeah - We didn't used to do coupons until a year ago, but our competitors kind of forced our hand by offering incessant coupos, I agree we love the affiliates who push our content rather than the coupon pimps .The above moves would sure ring true with this affiliate crowd who have had their fill of un-ethical Inkjet/laser cartridge hawking middlemen armed with a tricks for clicks affiliate force.

I setup my 2 nephew... shipping off to Iraq to fight the War on Terrorism in October. May they return safely

Well, I think that covers everything you brought up ECom, let me know if there is anything else that you want to know.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Also - If anyone has an alternative to CJ I would be interested in hearing it out. ben@4inkjets.com

You covered it well Ben, expecially filling in the blanks where CJ spams the mailboxes & SERPs, and Loads the PPCSE's with their house account ...123Inkjets.com keywords. I'll take everyones advice and setup some PcShops Mall pages for 4Inkjets.com. Sure be nice to have the GoldenCan app as then none of your affiliates could use it as spam food.

Putting up a Product Showcase creator and the wonderful GoldenCan conversion tool whould indicate your not just another ink spam recruiter.Mike, they've already got a javascript page creator (and a php one, too - which is search engine friendly, not hidden from bots like JS).

What's the sense in duplicating what they've already got? Am I missing something?

I'm also curious as to what makes a list of products in JS on a webpage rather than spiderable html more of a conversion tool. I've always been under the impression that pulling in search engine traffic on specific, targeted terms helped conversion along - am I wrong?

I agree that the PSC displays can show SERP friendly sniplets of 4Inkjets products. I prefer to add some pre-sell spin a few banners, one or 2 PSC displays to a showcase page. The highlight at the top would be a GoldenCan storefront script with accompanying coupon/daily deal section. One Page -one merchant with customer selfserve from a to z..... before the click.

webworker

GoldenCan storefront script with accompanying coupon/daily deal section. One Page -one merchant Well then, this is what's confusing me about the suggestion and where I'm wondering what I'm missing.

What's the difference between the GC Javascript storefront and the in-house JS one that 4inkjets has? Can't either one of those go on a page for the merchant with a banner and our own, original product spin added? Isn't theirs a JS storefront script that essentially does the same thing?

I can't see how it would be possible to pull traffic for all the different brands available on just one page anyway, but that's another issue entirely. I've wanted to do an inkjet site for a long time, but it's out of the question with hand-rolled pages and got pushed down on the to do list.

Ben

Mike, You said..
The highlight at the top would be a GoldenCan storefront script with accompanying coupon/daily deal section.

Would Chris Anderson's coupon feeder be something that would be helpful. I looked at GoldenCan and I think our page is nicer, I am still not clear why GC would be better. If there is something that you feel would be helpful, let me know and I will do my best to get it done.

As you can see, I am doing my best to make this the most :kickass: affiliate site.

BTW - If I don't reply right away it is becuase i get caught up in other things once in awhile and forget to check the board. You can always contact ,e directly if you feel I am slow.

Thanks

Ben

Making showcase pages where the intent is to focus on the needs of the shopper... before the click is important. Every Inkjet operator employing SERP spammers, e-mail spammers and point of sale attack dogs ( BHO's and couponers) will have less chance to influence my referred shopper if they are already on a mission to get some specific ink cartridges or lazer toner. It's just ink folks. A consumable commodity. The only choice is where to buy it when the printer "low toner" light comes on... like bread!

I get almost immediate PR4 and 5 rankings on my showcase page builds. I do basic SEO and no SEM. Mixing GC with the PSC's, banners and text links can drive targeted traffic.

2 Examples ... http://www.ecomcity.com/sierra-trading-post-bargains.htm

point of sale attack dogsOK, 4inkjets doesn't have those chat leeches, but I see Overstock on those ecomcity showcase pages. Does that mean that this stopped?

Printer Finder Tool for Affiliates
Well guys, It is going to be hard to top this, but we just released our new tool for affiliates. It's easy to setup, it's intuitive for consumers and there are three great layouts for you to choose from.

http://64.147.28.22/emailimages/cj0307pf/printerfinder.jpg

All you have to do to get this set up is:
1. Go to our affiliate support site (http://psc04.4inkjetaffiliates.com/affiliates/custom/4inkjets/printer_applet.aspx), enter your PID
2. Choose a layout
3. Click Get Code
The program is updated daily so the information is always relevant.

By the way, if you are tired of swapping out coupons you don't have to anymore (at least with 4inkjets). Our coupon updater (http://psc03.4inkjetaffiliates.com/affiliates/default.aspx) will do it for you.

http://64.147.28.22/emailimages/cj0307pf/couponimage.jpg

Start making more money. 4inkjets has the highest conversion rate and highest average order value. More importantly we have the best affiliate support. We are constantly looking for ways to make it easier and more effective for you to drive qualified traffic that will convert.

Yeah, I know what your thinking, you wish all your merchant's could make life this easy for you. Well all I can do is try to contribute to that dream.

Let me know if you any questions.
