LeadPoint would like to formally introduce ourselves to members of Abestweb, and detail a few reasons why if you’re generating mortgage/debt leads online you will want to work with us if you’re not already. (If you are an end-user interested in buying leads, please also read on).

Founded by Per Petterson and Marc Diana (co-founder of Commission Junction and 3rd employee of Lowermybills respectively), LeadPoint offers features and benefits far beyond what any lead generators (especially those using networks) are used to receiving, as we are the only true turnkey solution available.

Topline Advantages

-LeadPoint maximizes revenue per lead by selling your lead to the 4 highest bidders.
-Simplified lead management - LeadPoint supplies you with a form and data capture code.
-Instant Accounting and reconciliation - You will know immediately how much the lead yielded.
-Four payments per month
-Improved Customer Experience with real time matching, and real time revenue recognition.
-LeadPoint protects lead sellers by extending licensing requirements to you.

LeadPoint Details

1) Receive the true value of your leads: LeadPoint sells your leads to the 4 highest bidders in real-time, and returns this revenue to you. We operate on a slim 19% transaction margin, and you finally receive the real revenue that your lead is worth. Leads are worth various amounts to end-users, and within our marketplace 250+ top tier buyers including Ameriquest, Indy Mac, Quicken, New Century, and many more bid on leads with various characteristics resulting in the maximum revenue returned per lead. Why should you be paid a low flat CPA/CPL when you’re driving quality traffic only to have an aggregator turn your leads around and make a killing?

2) Unequaled reporting and transparency: Our reporting is true real-time, in fact we can even post a server response to you indicating the revenue that your lead fetched less than a second after your customer has submitted the lead. You also have full transparency into what happened to your leads, something you don’t have working with other partners. With LeadPoint you can see lead-level information such as name/address/phone number/etc. for every one of your leads, and if any are invalidated our systems post the reason why so you can verify this. For instance perhaps you have a lead invalidated for an invalid name and invalid phone number. You now have the power to see that the customer entered “Mickey Mouse” in the name field and “999-999-9999” in the phone number field and thus the lead really was invalid. With other partners you simply send traffic off and trust that you’ll be credited for the leads and then cross your fingers reversals don’t hit. At LeadPoint we feel smoke and mirrors are better left to Las Vegas magic shows, so you see what we see.

3) Integration with your site(s): We can integrate with you in a variety of ways. These include a traditional affiliate link that lands on our landing page through a unique campaign link, a self-hosted form, (we provide you with code for the page but you host it retaining creative control), and a server post from a form you create. The big benefit here is that you can now easily have a capture form directly on your site instead of sending traffic off to someone else’s landing page. You keep the customer, you promote under your brand. This yields higher customer loyalty, and higher long term value extracted per customer. Leadpoint does not compete with its customers, rather is a partner with its customers.

4) Product Execution on your page: We empower you to display a “thank you page” to your customer displaying the names of the four buyers in a true Lowermybills/Lending Tree like product execution from your site. This helps significantly with branding and customer retention/revisits.

5) Payment: We pay 4 times per month, on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and end of month. It’s your money and you should be earning interest on it not us, so we get it to you as quickly as possible.

6) Our Team: LeadPoint’s core team is comprised of senior people who were formerly with Lowermybills, Commission Junction, Yahoo, and The Loan Page and various other industry leading companies. We saw what was working in the industry, and what wasn’t, and built LeadPoint to address and nullify any concerns while dramatically improve upon already positive aspects.

7) Next Steps: Sign up for a free account here: http://www.leadpoint.com/account/sellers/sellersignup.html , or if you have any questions please feel free to contact me directly. If you are an end-user interested in buying leads, please contact me directly and I'll put you in touch with our sales department.

Thanks, and I look forward to working with you!

Guys,

I have spoken to Lars and boy oh boy is fantastic!

The marketplace they've developed is cutting out the middlemen and brokers so that, you, the affiliate earn significantly more!!! Payments weekly and real reporting!! Check them out!

I am working on a site for this program. I too spoke with Lars and he seemed like a very straight up guy to me.
This certainly makes more sense than paying middlemen and relying on tracking through certain networks that might or might not work.
Can't wait to go live with it!

Question:
What is the average commission that a mortgage lead seller will get? For refinance leads.

Question:
What is the average commission that a mortgage lead seller will get? For refinance leads.

Revenue per lead will obviously fluctuate due to the model, and varies largely on the promotional methods various publishers use and their subsequent traffic.

We average in the $40-55 range for refinance, and let me attempt to explain that further: A refinance lead from any of the top 10 or so prime states will fetch significantly higher revenue than one of the bottom states that doesn't have much value to Brokers.

A Texas refinance lead with a low loan value may only fetch $25, whereas a California refinance lead will go for significantly more money, often in the $75-80 range and we've had numerous crest the $100 threshold.

The big advantage here is that there is the ability to target (especially for search folk) these high value states. I'm also more than happy to provide custom targeting data and metrics on an individual basis to help optimize campaigns.

*all the numbers I'm quoting are NET revenue passed to you, our 19% transaction fee has already been deducted.

I wanted to update this thread as the last post above (from Late September) gave rough figures for average refinance revenue per lead and pricepoint has trended higher since then.

Our average refinance revenue yesterday was $54.19 accross all states and loan amounts.

Average revenue for California refinance leads was $80.98

As more and more buyers have come onboard pricepoint continues to be pushed upward, so this is great for those generating leads who certainly benefit from these increases!

Cheers,
Lars

To keep Abestweb and potential new lead-sellers informed, I wanted to update the last post with current prices.

As of yesterday (11/15/05)

Our average revenue for refinance leads was $62.68 accross all states and loan amounts.

Average revenue for California refinance leads was $105.57

Clearly illustrated is the power of our model, as in only two weeks CA pricepoint has jumped by ~$25

Dear Mr. Leadpoint,
Would you be able to tell me your averages for debt consolidation leads?
Also, do you deal in debt consolidation LOAN leads? Do you plan to in the future?
OK thanks

Hello iway,

I'm happy to help in any way that I can here, however to avoid bumping an old thread above all the other new "New Program" posts I've been hesitant to continually update this thread.

From the initial announcement we've had dozens of Abestweb members move over to LeadPoint to sell Mortgage and Debt leads, and with the launch of several new verticals in the near future (some info about these on www.leadpoint.com, further announcement posts will follow on here as these verticals launch), our marketplace is booming.

If there is anything that I can do for you please feel free to contact me directly:

Hi,
I have a question,
I just decided to try Leadpoint.
I just put a link to powerloansearch on my site... to send leads to Leadpoint.
I did this while still in the 'Test' phase.
So I generated 2 leads already, however I am not in the fully approved phase.
So I am just wondering if I will get credit for these leads still?
Thanks

I don't think you will get the credit, cause the lead just go to them like orphan, as they can not traced it was from you or some one else

:(

Hey iway... do you know how this works, like when you are approved, and you start sending them leads... do you get credited right away? Or do you have to wait a few days while they try to sell the leads?
I tried reading their faq, but I'm not sure... Thanks

I'm HAPPY to help out but am unable to monitor this thread daily and thus it's better to get in touch with my directly via email or phone so that I can address any questions you have).

I have tried to contact Leadpoint.com via phone and several emails. I would like to sign up as and sell some student loan leads and maybe a few mortgage leads, but the sign up form is not secure. No one has returned my call or emails. Does anyone here know if they do have a secure sign up form, and for that matter, if they are in business or still accepting new signups? Thanks.

You're bringing up threads from over 3 years ago. You're requesting people p.m. you, when you don't have access to p.m.'s. You're poaching other peoples paid advertisements. All in and all, not a good way to start at this site.
