Here's an open letter from Globat.com's CEO directed to all ABW members and our fellow CJ publishers:

Over the past few months, we have received lots of feedback and many comments from our affiliates describing that having two affiliate programs and especially our tiered commission structure on our CJ program is causing confusions for our affiliates.

Due to this, Globat.com is discontinuing it's affiliate program in the Commission Junction network effective:

Friday, November 18, 2005.

As of today, we will be expiring all CJ Publishers and our CJ tracking links will remain active for only 7 more days.

Even though we are leaving CJ, we value our affiliates and would like to retain you as partners and customers. We encourage all publishers and customers who wish to continue to promote our hosting products to join our In-House affiliate program at:

http://affiliates.globat.com

Through our In-House affiliate program, we have paid out over $2,000,000 in comissions so far. We provide clear comission structures and reports, and over the next few weeks will be adding lots of new and exciting features; including custom coupon codes and tiered comissions on renewals.

At this point I would like to thank the entire team at Commission Junction for a great partnership that lasted over 3 years; it has been a pleasure working with you! Lastly I wish to say a special Thank You to all of our loyal CJ publishers who have helped Globat.com to become one of the leading U.S. hosting companies.

Best regards,

Ben R. Neumann
President & CEO

Taking control of your affiliate relationships by eliminating the confusing advertising white noise makes sense. Just don't magnify your CJ errors by jumping in bed with all those shanky anonomous CPA networks, who make CJ look like a saint.

We certainly won't! We have been operating a pretty successful affiliate program in-house and we will focus this going forward.
