Is there consolidated payment for all the GSI programs, or do i get different cheques from every program?

Thanks

You will get seperate checks for each merchant through Befree. Due to the addition of a cookie duration, removal of "parasitic affiliates", and lowering of payment threshhold you should have no problem recieving regular checks.

The thresholds, frequency look right in line with the more competitive programs offered thru BeFree. There may be some affiliates with a decided preference for the acclaim or new 1check programs, but for affiliates who've been using BeFree for awhile, the GSI programs look as promising as any. I know I'm interested to see which we can do the best with. Re separate checks, we've had good experience getting paid by separate check arrangements for a good, sustained time period working thru BeFree. (I like the consolidated options that some bf programs avail, but it's not become a litmus test issue for us.)

I get charged about $10 for every check I cash here in Spain (exchange rates) so for me it's not the same thing to get 10 checks of $100 than one of $1000 http://abw.infopop.cc/greamlins/sick.gif

Just my view on consolidated payments

[QUOTE]ok, so it seems you renamed the same web site about six times, misleading us into thinking they are separate merchants[QUOTE]

The last time I watched football, the Denver Broncos and the San Diego Chargers were different companies. One was in Colorado, one was in California. These are different states (just in case you didn't pay attention in first grade). I seem to recall that they are actually rather large businesses.

Actually, I envy GSI. It seems like they are providing services for a number of independent chains. If you were as professional as you try to indicate with your name and excessively long title, then you many have noticed that things like Garts Sports, Sports Authority...all are rather large sports chains. In many cases they are the largest chains in their market.

As for the separate check thang. I hope GSI is pushing BeFree to offer one check to the regular beFree merchants. If you had read any of the comments in ABW before slamming, you may have realized that currently the one check option is only available for Bfast lite. This is a scaled down product that does not give the merchant the full reporting and monitoring features of Bfast heavy.

I admit, I left a nasty gram in the GSI folder arguing for one-check, but I also realize that it is not up to GSI...but BeFree.

I suspect that BeFree has some large merchants that are blocking the one-check idea. For many years beFree marketed itself to merchants as a software provider...not as an affiliate network. I get the feeling that BeFree has some contractual things going on with some of the early merchants which is keeping them from offering one check to all merchants.

Because GSI is working with large retailers with established names in their niche markets, they really need to have a ton of different sites. I suspect that affiliates can get by with just joining one or two...but the format is a real pain for groups having more than one football team site.

If no consolidated payment,
joining programs under a network is not much difference than join stand alone in house aff. programs.

Only single login advantage for Befree and LS.

Thank you for taking the time to read questions already asked and answered. You're right on, Yintercept.

1-Check isn't currently an option for merchants like GSI who aren't in the BFAST Express program.

I'm also very disappointed with GSI switching to BeFree for the sole reason that they won't offer a consolidated check. This would make it very difficult to promote all of their merchants since we have to wait for a minimum treshold for each and every one of them.

Since their product catalogue is identical, there is no reason to have links to SportsAuthority, MVP, Fogdog, etc.. all on the same site. Pick your favorite and stick with it.. That way your sales aren't spread over multiple programs.
