Mike, just tell me what your program is called and which network it is on. There is a list of merchants and the parasites they are connected to. It is in beta at present, but if you are on it, I will tidy up your listing.

ebates has got to be feeling the heat from everyone here. Every time a merchant wakes up to what is happening with parasites, ebates becomes the focus almost immediately. Paul Nichols must be cringing everytime the phone rings. Is it another merchant calling to tell him that his MMM approach won't work for them? Eventually they will have to begin letting merchants out of MMM, so that they won't lose them completely.

Well can we finally get around to addressing the LACK OF REASONABLE COOKIE duration issue? Lack of reasonable cookie duration makes the merchant itself a parasite.
If I send you a customer who window shops today, but buys tomorrow, I don't get my piece of the pie.

I will try to address everyone's questions and concerns in this post.
First, we will not be disaffiliating Ebates at this time. We have had a long positive relationship with Ebates. We monitor Ebates’ business practices on a daily basis. Not a day goes by that I do not check on sales to make sure that Ebates sales have not skyrocketed while my other affiliates’ sales have dropped. We have not noticed an increase in sales since the implementation of MMM. We understand that Ebates has their work cut out for them as it pertains to keeping within the generally accepted marketing principles that have been established by the top affiliate providers.
I am here to turn this ship around; if I felt that Ebates would make it very difficult for affiliate to succeed, they would definitely been included in the purge last week.

Jackinthebox........Your logic can't be farther from the truth. Whenu has been a huge partner even before I began working on these affiliate programs. Ebates sales are minimal compared to whenu. In the short term we expect our affiliate sales to drop significantly. However, we are confident that our affiliate programs will grow tremendously from the support of affiliates who recognize the meaning of dropping the affiliates that we did as well as other changes that will be announced shortly.
You should also note that Ebates is not affiliated with all 30 of our affiliate programs.
