This post by Todd (http://forum.abestweb.com/showpost.php?p=508088&postcount=74)

clearly illustrates CJ's willingness to break their own rules on the fly for Upromise. Read this post and thread, then read CJ's PSA. It is truly disgusting.

I nominate this post for Todd and CJ showing ABW and the world where their loyaly lies.

By far it has to be Dirk Gardner for his "Building UNIQUE autoupdating bulletproof datafeed sites that sell", http://forum.abestweb.com/showthread.php?t=60200&highlight=bulletproof.

Very few people here at ABW come forward and share their secrets the way Dirk did with this great post and subsequent information. Yes, the many posts by others about fighting parasites were good, but often depressing and accusatory. Dirks posting looked at the positive side of things and was unselfish in giving us a great set of tools to improve our sites and sales.

I agree with Ron on his nomination. I also nominate Coley's thread(s) explaining how to statistically evaluate stats for abnormalities (http://forum.abestweb.com/showthread.php?p=416064#post416064). I'll try to find the exact thread. Although I know he has posted it more than once.

Michael if you know where the thread is off-hand, feel free to edit my post with the link.

Thank you for that post Ron,

I have to agree that the thread that Dirk Gardner started on July 1st, 2005: Building UNIQUE autoupdating bulletproof datafeed sites that sell (http://forum.abestweb.com/showthread.php?t=60200) is one of the best posts I have read on 2005 about the way to handle your first datafeed and make things happen.

While I know that, that thread may not be that a big deal for the old datafeed Gurus around here :up2someth , I also know that, that thread will help a lot of new datafeed newbies for some time to come, hell, even I had learned a thing or two from that thread.

(Don't tell anyone, but because of that thread, I had to spend some extra money on a new book, PHP and MySql by: Larry Ullmam.) http://abestweb.com/smilies/shhh.gif

So that thread from Dirk Gardner have my vote too!

Sal. :)

Should I nominate the unfounded thread where Mr. Messer had the gaul to openly and publicly post that I was telling lies here at ABW about his company?

How about the one where I was the first to predict Mr. Messer was trying to sell the company?

Yeah, yeah, they were not important posts as far as helping affiliates, but at least one of them sure is burned in my memory.

I'll second both of those. :)

I guess I'll have to find them and put their links up here. What the heck, let's throw them in the pot for the votes for the fun of it.
