My wife bought the kids ipods for Christmas through Apple, over the phone no less which really upset me since I am an affiliate. Having said that, I figured I’d set up an Itunes account for them to get their songs and get a sale from them . Well I got burned twice, because Itunes did not track! Got stuck with dishing out over $600 with no commission.

TTW,
How are they supposed to track a transaction over the phone? - Not happening.
Are you sure the link you bought the music from was the itunes specific one and not the apple store one?
I doubt the program failed, it's managed very well! and I mean VERY well. I'd have to venture and assume human error here.

I'm sorry, I was not clear. My wife purchased the ipods on the phone. Which I know would not be tracked. Itunes is seperate from the apple program. I set up the itunes account on the net through one of my sites. itunes did not track it.

I doubt the program failed, it's managed very well! and I mean VERY well. Management and IT abilities do not always correlate.
And in general, so long as the AM isn't outright blasting their program in the foot, I generally see little correlation between AMs and actual performance, in either direction.

Leader,
I only meant to say that the program was run so well that IT and AM do merge with this AM, they are one the ball and when one's on the ball ... program performance is of course, directly proportionate.

My test iTunes purchase tracked. Getting a nickel per purchased song, I think the program will be well below the dollar EPC.
