Charming Shoppes Interactive, Inc. is looking to hire an Affiliate and Search Marketing Specialist to report to the Marketing Manager of the Internet group. Charming Shoppes Interactive (a division of Charming Shoppes, Inc., a Fortune 1000 retailer) is responsible for developing, marketing and supporting the companys group of corporate, catalog and retail branded Web sites including: lanebryant.com, catherines.com, fashionbug.com, charmingshoppes.com and figuremagazine.com. This position is located in our New York City office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Marketing Coordinator is primarily responsible for managing Affiliate and Search marketing activities, and special projects. Specific responsibilities include the following:
Affiliate
Management of daily account needs, as well as the relationships of affiliate partners and affiliate network vendor, LinkShare
Responsible for ongoing recruiting and support of affiliate partners
Investigating new placement and business opportunities within the program
Developing regular communications, e-newsletters and promotions to motivate affiliates
Analyzing and reporting on program performance
Requesting and trafficking banner creative, offers, copy, coupon codes, landing pages
Creating and overseeing communications/promotional calendars.
Search
Assisting in managing paid and natural search optimization programs
Performing research to expand/refine keyword list in paid search programs
Evaluating effectiveness of Pay Per Click search programs, and adjust keywords, bids
Overseeing outside online agency reporting.
REQUIREMENTS
Required Skills and Experience
Candidate should have an understanding of online marketing with at least 1-2 years experience. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills (writing sample required), and have an outgoing personality. Individual must also be well organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience with affiliate and search engine marketing is preferred. Knowledge or experience with fashion a plus.
