The Elephant Group is currently expanding our South Florida office and is looking for a high energy, results driven E-commerce Affiliate Program Manager to develop and grow our online satellite television affiliate program. This position will be responsible for increasing revenues and customers by initially developing all aspects of an affiliate program, including recruiting new affiliates as well as maintaining and enhancing relationships with future affiliates.
Elephant Group is a sales/marketing company for many well-known consumer electronic brands including DIRECTTV, DISH Network, Sirius Satellite Radio and many others. We have offices in New Jersey, Maryland, Florida and other areas of the United States.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Creating every aspect of an online satellite TV affiliate program for two separate web sites. No programs currently exist.
• Developing and implementing all strategies for recruiting new affiliates into the program.
• Assisting affiliates in growing their contributions to the program.
• Responsible for all communication with affiliates, including responding to inquiries and negotiating terms.
• Analyzing affiliate performance to help identify opportunities to increase traffic.
• Developing strategies for monitoring existing affiliate compliance with program terms and conditions, as well as monitoring general brand positioning by affiliates.
• Providing affiliates with new incentives, new marketing messages and new advertising through collaborating with web designers to prepare ads.
• Timely reporting of program performance to management.
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of affiliate marketing program management experience is a must.
• Comprehensive understanding of online marketing, affiliate ad networks, “Linkshare, Commission Junction, etc.” and online performance reporting and tracking systems.
• Effective negotiating skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications and have the ability to create comprehensive sales reports in Excel.
