I was going to vote, but I get the message: "You may not vote on this poll" --why?

The more people who participate in a poll, the better.

Voting is one of the privileges that come with time at ABW. CF: http://forum.abestweb.com/showthread.php?t=55801

I should have nominated, went for Adsense, though they're about no.6 (that's #6 in translation) of my top programmes.

Mhh... I would have expected to get an Email from ABestWeb announcing the Voting with Links to each poll. We are almost half way through the voting period and the voting numbers are meager.

Haiko! It's not a problem for you to send a new merchant program announcement via email to all ABW subscribers (that did not opt out), why are you not sending one announcing the vote. I bet a lot of affiliates don't check ABW all the time would show up if they would know that the voting is going on. For most of the votes is it not necessary that you were active in the forums.

what does everbody else think?

Voting results have been skewed in previous polls so I specifically don't advertise it so 1000 noobs can vote for xyz candidate as had happened in the past. Now I have implemented many "safeguards" to get a real and accurate result and to make it extra fair, I let the nomination period stay open for over two weeks and have the voting for another week so that anyone who regularly visits can either nominate and/or vote.

Our stats show that even the "worst" ABWer comes back every two weeks.

Oh and yes, in this particular poll the results will be meager, no one's really gonna wave a flag to the best program - who wants more competition?

I noticed Hooks.com in the voting, never heard of them:

http://www.hooks.com

is that right?

ShareASale Merchant. Pharmacy. Good Commission and Return days. Very good conversion and decent order sizes. We don't do much with them, but we noticed (positively) and might look into them a bit more this year.

They provide a 5000+ SKU's Product Feed with good content via SAS FTP.

If you are into promoting healthcare/pharmacy merchants you should check them out :).
