I got a new toy!!!!! :) Well, a toy that allows me to be even more productive :)

One is the CafePress computer, one is the loyal old laptop that isn't pleased about traveling so much anymore and on the corner there (with an abw page open!!!) is the new work a holic computer :) HP5030, got it on sale with a $200 rebate too.... I shoulda coulda woulda got one online using an aff link, but I get impatient when I need new work toys and I just walked into a store, they didn't have it so I drove to a second store 15 miles away and came home with it :) :)

This is what happens when I am 3000 miles away from my "real" computer.... I miss my monitor :( (It's in Rochester waiting patiently for me to come rescue... er... get it :)

And the external hard drives are hiding among the computers, lol. The cleaning people here at the hotel give me funny looks.... good thing at extended stay places like this they only come in once a week!!!!!

Officially -- Loxly has actually spent the day AWAY from her PC .. I made her put the PC in the truck her rental car and spend the day with me on Venice beach running around looking through the cool shops and taking pictures of rocks (lots of rocks) and guys in thongs that want money for a picture or two.. that guy was a freak HUH Loxly...?

lol, cool blast from the what seems like a very far away past. That computer was stolen and replaced by a similar HP5020 and I am in an apartment with the 3 laptops on a long table instead of a breakfast bar. Still feels like I am in a hotel though, my stuff still hasn't made the move from Rochester yet... movers are a pain.... being 3000 miles away from my "stuff" is a pain and if it doesn't come soon I may move to a different city entirely!!!!!!!!

And yes Addhandler did keep me away from my computer for an entire day, and the dude in the Thong on the beach on a VERY chilly day was .... interesting.... unfortunately THAT compact flash card got hosed and I can't access the pics, so he stays forever in our memories, along with the place in the sand where you wrote ABW and we photographed it with the entire ocean in the background.... dammit... lol. Anyone good at card recovery? Already tried some heavy duty tools of my own....
