There is currently a 20% off Pre-Order Sale active on the GoodBulbs site. This should get more people thinking about getting their bulbs (and ordering NOW) despite the ground being frozen.

Currently up are lilies and tulips, and the fall-planted bulb packs. There're Asiatic and Oriental lilies (and one "orange tiger" lily). The planter and fertilizer are on sale, too. All can be pre-ordered now, though of course, the fall-planted varieties ship in September.

The sale expires March 8. There's a banner up in SAS for this sale, too. No coupon needed for this one!

Ah it's getting that time of year, time to sell some bulbs. You should have a contest - "Put Leader To Work" with the promise of you taking pics packing up the bulbs. I'll do my best :)

After thinking about it, that sounds like a good idea. I'll probably wait until the high season, though. It wouldn't look like much if I showed pics in the pre-season, of me with one box or something :)

My narcissus are already done blooming. Tulips, daffs, and other stuff are coming up. Gotta take more pictures for my site.

This thread's appearance reminds me: This sale is now expired! So if you have any sale ads up, time to take 'em down.

I've been seeing more orders lately, so I'm not surprised that it's spring somewhere! Here, it's only been warm for the last 2 days. Nothing's blooming yet... There's one brave tulip that's put up about a 1/2-inch shoot. The rest know better than to poke a stalk out yet in Michigan! :cold:

So I won't be taking any pictures, yet. Once mine bloom, there will be a better Kees Nelis picture appearing. The one I have up now is "okay" but doesn't really show how stunning that variety is! I think if I can capture what I actually see when they bloom, more people will agree that Kees Nelis is one of the best varieties of tulips there is

@ All--

Many lilies are now on SHIPS NOW status, so that should get things moving for them. While some order in advance, it seems that a lot more prefer immediate availability.

That said, the mid-Southern states are coming in now with TULIP orders! 6 months in advance. So there are people who don't mind waiting at all...

Our grass is turning green, and will probably need to be cut in the next week or two. The Cleveland Pear trees are blossoming. Our average high has been about 80 for the past week and a half. Spring is definitely coming early down south!
