Job Description
Affiliate Classroom, Inc. is seeking an affiliate manager to manage the day to day tasks of our affiliates. In addition to managing affiliates, we are seeking an experienced affiliate program manager to participate in product development (related to affiliate management) and affiliate/employee training.
Responsibilities
Affiliate Manager Responsibilities:
- Daily Affiliate Management: Managing marketing creative, tweaking offer, managing affiliate payments and resolving any affiliate disputes.
- Keep a consistent eye on affiliate activity and identify areas of improvement.
- Recruit new Affiliates and JV Partners
- Oversee the development and distribution of appropriate marketing materials to affiliates.
- Make sure all affiliates have any specific/unique marketing material they may need
- Work closely with Marketing Director to help build and expand the affiliate program.
- Must be able to come up with new campaign ideas and marketing ideas
- Travel with company to all affiliate related trade shows (opportunity to speak may also arise)
Product Development Responsibilities
- Work with and advise the product development manager on any product related to affiliate program management.
- Participate in the development of a training program for new affiliate program managers that are hired.
- Participate in and lead the training of new hires in affiliate marketing (especially affiliate program managers).
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year experience in affiliate program management.
- Must possess strong industry knowledge – affiliate marketing
- Must know the process of finding, prospecting and recruiting strong joint venture partners
- Must be creative in product development
- Must possess a thorough understanding of internet marketing including e-mail marketing, search engine optimization and pay per click marketing.
- Must be out-going, ready to speak in public and open to “being put on the spot”
