Edited to say:
kfi,
An affiliate webmaster with the qualifications you named who is a "High Traffic Affiliate Website Webmaster w/ SEO Skills" makes no less than 3 to 4 times what you are offering to pay. Many make 10 times that.
Never, ever sell your affiliates short. We are not teenagers trying to monetize our MySpace page. We are a little more serious than that.

This is the site that is on SAS that is full of affiliate links but is posing as a merchant. You are a SLIMEBALL. Your whole site is not worth $700 a week.
Go away you stinkin' poser of a merchant. Take your CJ affiliate links you try to pimp in SAS and shove them into the deep, dark recesses of your......well, you gt my message.
Go away. You and your site both suck!
Look at this thread (http://forum.abestweb.com/showthread.php?t=70640). You will see the opinions of ABW members of your lovely program.

I did finally respond today to the postings about Shareasale which I did not read until now unfortunately. You can see it here. http://forum.abestweb.com/showthread.php?t=70640

With regards to the salary sniping: let's see.... 10 times $800 a week...that's $8000 a week X 52 weeks.. $416,000 a year, that's sounds right. Thanks for the advice. That sounds much more in line. Is that what you are making to be a webmaster with 2 years experience? It sounds to me you have an inflated sense of worth.

webmaster != PPC specialist

PPC specialist = one who knows how to make money with their web skills
webmaster = one who works for someone else because they don't

Check some salary sites for SEM, SEO and affiliate manager positions. 10 times what you are offering is high, however, you are very low. You can't even get OPM for what you are offering, and certainly won't get anyone to come in house at that salary to work JUST for you. And not with the added responsibilities. Time for you do to do more research and review what your company wants to accomplish and what you are willing to invest in accomplishing it.

$700-$800 a week shows that you are not only scaming your affiliates, but also scamming your employees.

An in-house employee with a 1099? Here's what the IRS has to say about it:

We have different definitions of a webmaster. It does not equal PPC specialist.

Here is one which is more appropriate to the job posted:

An individual who manages a Web site. Depending on the size of the site, the Webmaster might be responsible for any of the following: making sure that the Web server hardware and software is running properly, designing the Web site, creating and updating Web pages, replying to user feedback, monitoring traffic through the site.

OK, that is a fine definition of webmaster. But 5 of your 8 responsibilities have to do with SE marketing. The first two skills required are that of a SEM/PPC specialist, not of a general purpose webmaster (where your pay range is appropriate). I don't mean to threadcrap but your expectations are out of line for what you want to pay (and on an inhouse 1099, too). Someone with two years of PPC experience and with "extensive search engine ranking" skill should be making that much per day on their own, not per week.
