Whew, email is back but some other functions are still being worked on. The whole server and their backup measures seemed to fail like a line of dominos. A disk on the raid somehow got corrupted and the corruption was then copied to the other discs (backup #1 gone), they tried to rebuild but it kept failing around 95% so they were going to restore from the backup discs on a new server to get up and running. Someone in the data center, during one of their raid rebuild attempts, tried to build the array on the backup discs-using the corrupt array (backup #2 now gone). So, they had to completely rebuild a new server and are working on tape backups to restore sites. Some folks like me were yelling for our email access so I have a basic site back up and they now have to restore the rest of my sites and databases manually.

What a royal pain, not what I wanted to be messing with for hours. Thanks for you patience.
