So my lovely digital camera (the one that WASN'T stolen, cause it's been broken) that was killed by a chocolatini (or two) being spilled on it, was kinda sittin here mocking me. So I happened to have a tiny screwdriver out to fix something else and I decided "what the heck, it doesn't work anyway". I noticed several teeny tiny screws where I could reach them and lo and behold, they unscrewed pretty easily.
So did you ever wonder what the INSIDE of a high tech camera looks like? Here ya go!!!!
A couple more are here (http://flickr.com/photos/89774193@N00)
That'll teach my cameras to mess with me..... oh wait, I have to put it back together now huh??? Maybe tomorrow...... :up2someth

Well, discovered the problem and it appears that I can't blame the chocolatini's any more (but it was a fun story). There is a ripped cable... so maybe the Sony dudes can fix it... if I can find an authorized repair place locally. I can't bear to send it away in the mail....

You're in San Fran, Deb ... big doings up there and plenty of techies.
Better watch yourself with that screwdriver. You could start something you can't finish. LOL

Careful. There is always that one screw that sets of the giant SPROING when it is removed. We all know that once you hear the SPROING, you are past the point of no return.

you boys are bad... but i couldn't fix it, but I *did* put it back together... AND the manufacturer has a flat rate for repair that is less than buying another on ebay (I spent 2 days trying to get one cheap... lol). SO... off to the UPS store on Monday to ship it off to camera repair land and it will come back all spiffed up and not smelling of chocolate.... right???? :)
Now to put together more assemble it yourself furniture, I get to use the POWER screwdriver for that....... muuuaaaahhhhhaaaaa.......

If it can't be fixed with a paper clip, I don't even try.

If it can't be fixed with a paper clip, I don't even try.Power screwdrivers are just like paperclips, only stronger.
