That would be the same Mezi media that use adware and parasiteware companies such as gator to deliver their message eh, along with a good dose of brand bidding i think it's the makings of the most beautiful position :Titanic:

Love your posts wherever I see them pricethat :)

Didn't realise Mezimedia were such sleazebags... wouldn't work for them even if they gave the same salary as the President of Monrovia.

Me: The merchant has noticed you are doing brand bidding, which quite frankly is taking the piss

Mezi: Awfully sorry but we didnt notice anything in the program terms to say that it was not allowed and seperately we are just guarding the merchants position as research shows if you are not the number one then you will be losing traffic to competitors

Me: With respect please don't insult my intelligence, you know as well as i do when you brand bid you are basically just redirecting traffic away from the merchant for your own financial benefit.

Mezi: Yes but we have statistics that show.....

Me: I think you are talking to the wrong person, i have been doing this long enough to know the game so lets cut to the chase a little shall we...

Cutting a long story short Mezi had a nicely prepared statistic or information email that is or was used to justify brand bidding to merchants, which leads me to guess that it was preprepared for just such occasions..

Now time to replace the traffic and then sales start being generated from some crappy langing page which to be frank could never in a million years make any sales (couponmountain) just a merchants logo on an obscure directory site type thing. Now despite what they say i have been in the gam long enough to know that you do not make xx sales from a crappy page like that so i went digging.....

Cutting to the chase i asked mr mezi media what traffic is being used to generate these sales because in my experience the page that they say the ad media is on quite simply can not make this level of sales.....

Suprise suprise Gator was the source of the traffic.....

I will say one thing though, whilst choosing to not mention Gator or anything of the like during previous conversations Chris from mezi media was quite upfront and didnt try and hide the fact that he was using spyware or adware when confronted, i am not sure if because he was honest, backed into a corner or thought that most people didnt even know what it was so he could be quit free with his words.

As for AZAM, i though i would find you crawling the decks in here :cheerful:

I thought I'd come on here to get away from you two. :rotflol:

Still if they're looking for a new marketing manager has the previous one left because he used Gator and this brought the company into disrepute or because everyone now knows him and corporations like faceless images or because he didn't like using Gator but was told to?

Or was it because the publicity has made a lot of people wise to these machinations and their profits in the last quarter took a down swing from that particular area of operation?
