Marketing Manager, Acquisitions
GENERAL SUMMARY: The Marketing Manager will be a key member of the marketing team working on Gap Inc. Direct’s new growth initiative. This person will have a key role in the strategic development and execution of all customer acquisition efforts, including search, affiliates, and lead generation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage customer acquisition programs (80%)
·Partner closely with Gap Inc. Direct Business Development team and external vendors to launch acquisition programs for new Gap Inc. growth initiative
·Develop and execute customer acquisition strategies, including paid and organic search, affiliate marketing, lead generation, online advertising, and viral marketing
·Create new & innovative ways to reach our customer and gain exposure for the site
·Manage profitability of all programs, continuously testing and optimizing search engine marketing campaigns, affiliate performance, and other online partnerships
·Manage execution of acquisition programs: Partner with team on messaging, write creative briefs as needed, and partner with Legal and Production
·Hindsight performance of acquisition campaigns with actionable key learnings
·Manage registration process to increase database of prospects and customers
2. Manage on-site promotions strategies (20%)
·Develop and execute compelling and competitive promotions strategy in order to drive traffic, conversion and sales
·Create exciting, brand-building sweepstakes to attract new prospects and customers
·Analyze promotions programs to improve future promotions and profitability
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum experience:
·5+ years relevant experience
·Search & Affiliate experience required
·Online retail experience required
