I know every pet owner thinks that their pet is the cutest, but I just had to share this picture with the rest of the world.
This is Scooby, my 2 year old Labradoodle, aka The Cutest Dog Ever!!!

Just as soon as I can convince myself to take on the responsibility, I am getting a Doodle. Everyone I have talked to says they are the best dog ever. I had a Golden years ago and he was a wonderful dog. The loyalty of a waterdog and the smarts of a poodle are an awesome combination.
We will either get a Labradoodle or a Goldendoodle. But it sure is nice to be able to go wherever, whenever and not worry about the responsibility of a pet :)

Doodles are the CUTEST and their fur is absolutely amazing.
My bouvier's best friend is a goldendoodle who (outside of my boy) has the most amazing temprament of any animal I've ever met. They seem to be really well-tempered dogs with the best of both breeds.

UncleScooter....
If you ever do plan on getting a dog, I would highly suggest a labradoodle, or a goldendoodle (my sister has 2!).
Apart from the fact that they barely shed, they really do have a great temperament. In addition, my dog Scooby is extremely intelligent, I'm always amazed by him.
The only downside is that they are expensive$$$$....and you have to make sure you get them from a good breeder. I got Scooby, and thought everything was fine with him, but then we found out he had a heart murmur...
I've got a ton of more cute pictures of him...I'm pretty sure I'll be posting them here from time to time.
talk to you all soon!

....and you have to make sure you get them from a good [and reputable] breeder.
God yes, do that. Otherwise, we'll likely end up with numerous puppy mills all with the unexperienced selling weird mixes like corgydoodleweilers and pugadoodles...! Don't know about you, but I like my pugs small, natural, and compact..

That's the tough part about mixed breeds. They aren't recognized by any group (yet) so there isn't any quality control whatsoever. Hip dysplasia is a huge problem in the big'ns, for instance. You have to be really careful...

Saira, we have a two year old Labradoodle, too. His name is Dood and he was whelped at Glen Eden in Virginia on 6/1/2004. Where did you get your puppy? He's gorgeous! You must spend a lot of time brushing him. We take Dood to the groomer every two months and he gets a buzz cut.
If anyone's worried about a health guarantee with a Labradoodle or Goldendoodle just make sure to buy your dog from an established breeder as they will provide a health guarantee. Glen Eden was an established breeder of Poodles before they started breeding Doodles. I think your best bet is to go with a breeder with previous experience with Labs or Poodles as they'll know the potential problems with the breed so they can breed for the best possible outcome (a healthy pup with a good temperament).
You can see some photos of our dogs here http://forum.abestweb.com/showpost.php?p=531828&postcount=34.

It’s a cute one, Saira!!
I’m generally not fond of dogs.
But Rhea, Dood and Whitney are adorably cute.
I don't have pets of mine. But would love to have one like Scooby or Dood.
Thanks for sharing :)

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for all the nice comments on my "baby"!
Rhea: I got Scooby from a breeder in Ohio, which was a long drive from Montreal (where I live), but it was well worth it. The breeder also sold goldendoodles, miniature ponies etc...
