Senior Business Development Manager - Affiliate Channel

Our client, an extremely fast growing, profitable, and well established marketing services firm in the Boston area is looking for a leader on their affiliate business development team. You will join several other people on the team, but take on the most senior-level role within the group to help build partnerships with tier 1 partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and implement strategies to partner with Tier 1 sites
Identify and recruit new affiliates and pay for performance marketing partnerships, focusing on the most sr. partnerships.
Work closely with senior team members to source and close new affiliate deals
Negotiate improved presence on affiliate sites and with other marketing vehicles
Manage the day-to-day relationships with key partners
Communicate new offers and promotions and ensure affiliate support for them
Maintain the continued growth of the affiliate by monitoring their needs and interests
Encourage affiliates to perform to maximum capabilities by using our tools and marketing strategies
Closely monitor trends by affiliate to spot and correct any fraudulent activity

Experience with affiliate marketing
Experience with search marketing
Outgoing, welcoming interpersonal skills
Dynamic relationship development skills
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Creative marketing skills
Proficiency with Office applications

REQUIREMENTS:

3+ Years Internet Sales or Marketing experience
Experience in negotiating contracts and deals on CPM, CPC and most importantly have the ability to negotiate CPA media deals
Strong analytical skills and is comfortable using Internet tracking/reporting tools as well as Excel
Solid account management skills and experience
Strong problem solving and outside the box thinking
Sense of urgency, highly motivated and have high energy
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
