Hi Frank,

Thanks for expressing your concerns and for giving me an opportunity to address them publicly.

First, I'd like to reassure the affiliate community that those issues with the old Zenerx program, are indeed issues of the past. Let me begin by saying I would not have taken the role at all, had I felt that the company was planning to repeat the scenario - and believe me - I made sure to do my research. After all, I've worked hard to build a good reputation in this business, and I'm not about to put it on the line.

I was made aware of the trouble they had for a few months last year from day 1 - that info was given to me before even taking on the role.

The trouble was not a finance issue so much as it was an internal process issue whereby the person who used to handle the A/P side of things was no longer there and no cross training processes had been defined at that time. This created a mess as you can imagine, in areas like that of affiliate payments - which from my reports, have all since been issued.

The entire A/P side of things for this merchant has since been changed. They now have a CFO working internally full time and cross training procedures and documentation are now in place to ensure that should he leave, that finances will continue to be handled appropriately (and affiliates paid) regardless.

I too, brought my own concerns to the table for discussion with the company's owner before agreeing to accept the role - I've talked to him at length about the financial state of the business and his view of the affiliate channel - which is a positive one.

I feel confident in assuring you all today, that after much cleanup and a major change to management, that we will not experience those payment issues again.

New management is pro-affiliate, and apologizes for any payment issues of the past, promising to ensure it will not happen again. Since coming on board with them June 1st I have worked with them to ensure that all back-payments were sorted through and paid out. This was my very first task in fact, in becoming this merchant's OPM.

However, if we have missed anyone who still feels they are owed a payment from EverestNutrition.com for any reason, I encourage you to contact me directly so I can rectify the matter promptly.

My job as the Affiliate Manager, is to ensure our affiliates are paid, satisfied and successful as our partner. This is one of the many reasons I've launched their affiliate program onto Shareasale.com this month - to ensure that all payments will be issued, and that affiliates can feel confident they will be.

I'm glad you have done your due diligence, Liz. I still advise caution as their previous affiliate manager was shut out when the affiliates were.

The shutting out of the affiliate manager could not have been because of an accounts payable problem, but that's history.

Here's some more history. Their website converted my traffic pretty well. At about 1 in fifteen or twenty as I remember. The product was well liked by customers and the reorder rate was good.

If the program is operated right, experienced pill marketers can make a lot of money here.

Frank: Once again, I appreciate your concerns. I have been in touch with ChetB (past AM on this program) personally and he tells me he moved on of his own accord though he does acknowledge that the affiliate payment issue was a factor.

Once more, I feel confident that payment issues with this merchant are to be a thing of the past given a rotation of circumstance to people-power, processes and otherwise. The company does well financially - and thank you Frank for acknowledging the positive side of this program as well - the experience and insights that you've shared will be of great value to any affiliate interested in joining this program.
