We currently have the following exciting opportunity available in our Virginia Beach office:
Job Title: Web Marketing Manager
Department: Lillian Vernon Online
Reports to: Vice President, Lillian Vernon Online
Job Function:
Responsible for the development, execution, and management of all customer email, search, affiliate, and site marketing plans for www.lillianvernon.com.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Work with creative and production to write and design effective email communications. Challenge the current active email campaigns on a continual basis to ensure maximum results are achieved.
2. Develop and execute strategies for search marketing, affiliate marketing, and customer acquisition and retention.
3. Develop and execute site marketing campaigns to grow revenues including email gathering, special promotions, segmentation campaigns, etc…
4. Analyze results of all marketing efforts and review findings with management. Make recommendations for future promotions, tests, and rollout campaigns.
5. Develop and execute email test campaigns on a weekly basis to ensure we are using the most effective subject line, creative design, copy, product, calls to action, etc.
6. Responsible for the growth of email database.
7. Responsible for providing direction on design and copy for all customer communications.
8. Implement and manage all ancillary email communications including order and shipment confirmations, welcome messages, and checkout abandonment communications.
9. Act as main liaison with several key 3rd party partners to maximize revenues.
10. Coordinate the communication of marketing plans with creative, technology, production, external suppliers, and other divisions involved in the successful execution of each retention and reactivation marketing campaign.
Job Requirements:
· 4-year college degree in related field; Master’s degree a plus
· 3-5 years solid direct marketing experience.
· 1+ years online consumer e-commerce experience
· Strong technical skills with proficiency in Excel, Web, Web browsers
· Previous management experience
· Solid verbal and written communication skills
· Experience juggling multiple projects at a very fast pace while remaining attentive to detail
· Desire to obtain measurable results from each marketing effort
· Strong team orientation, flexible
· Creative
· Analytical
· Accountable
