Order has been shipped & received but no commission paid.
The click through appeared to have tracked, but not the sale.
Wrote the aff manager Thursday and still have received no response. Will be filing a transaction inquiry through Linkshare tomorrow.

non-commish sale???
They pay 7% on ALL sales. Or at least they are supposed too.
Will update when/if I hear anything back on the transaction inquiry.

I am the Affiliate Manager for Casual Living. This is the first time I've heard of this problem.
Contact me at the office and we'll get it sorted out with Linkshare. No worries, I'll take care of you.

Update:
As I stated above I had already filed a Transaction Inquiry.
Yesterday the sale showed up in my November reports at Linkshare and the Transaction inquiry was update to "Manual Credit Amount - Reason: Inquiry".
I got commission for the sale, but still have no idea why it did not track as it should have.

It didn't track because our system was broke for about 3 weeks. I can admit that now that I don't work there. It was fixed asap in December and we never had any other problems after that.

No need to bump a thread that is almost 6 mths old.
You should have posted that you had problems about the system going down back then (Dec 06) as opposed to now which serves no purposes to the community

I forgot about the post. I was just trying to clarify one of my first posts here.

Ah, so you're finally admitting that you are a dishonest person. You know that you should have made your affiliates and Linkshare aware of this immediately, yet you didn't.
Shame on you!

Linkshare and my affiliate were sent a bulletin immediately. But I forgot to come back to this thread and finish the conversation.

And for the record, every affiliate that made any sales for the previous 90 days before this issue happened in Dec. 06, received an averaged payout plus 20% bonus, whether they made sales during that three-week period or not. We apologized for the inconvenience and tried to rectify any missed commissions.
By January, no one had any complaints, in fact, several affiliates asked why they received bonuses. They became very loyal at that point and helped the first quarter of '07 become very healthy for us.
Don't question my integrity.

Really?? Then why did you say:

You certainly have an interesting way of trying to cover your tracks. Your comment that I've bolded clearly suggests that only because you are no longer affiliated with that company are you setting the record straight.
I'll also add that any affiliate manager who monitors his program would have known long before 9 days that something was amiss (the time between when the sale was made and your first response).
If you are being truthful, then I'd suggest that you consider what you say in your posts.
I still say something is fishy here. Just doesn't add up. If you didn't have anything to hide, there would be absolutely no reason to say "I can admit that now that I don't work there."

I would not have admitted publicly to the forum that our system was broken, but I certainly admitted it to Linkshare and ALL of my Casual Living affiliates immediately. If I would have remembered to come back to AbestWeb back then, I would have sent out a message to any affiliates that we had some technical dificulty and to contact us if they thought we did not compensate them correctly.
And you are correct, I should have caught that problem much sooner but our systems were not that sophisticated and I was balancing four affiliate programs. As soon as the problem was found out, we fixed it and compensated our affiliates the best way we could.
