Since we live in the SOUTHERN part of Nevada... we don't see snow and ice

But went to Tahoe last Thanksgiving and the whole 50 yards at shoreline was ice

Lemme find the pic of my son holding one chunk he could lift...

Edited to add: What looks likes waves heading to the shore - it was all ice - it was frozen in that wave position.

And the brown "sand" Jesse's standing on was just a solid sheet of ice as far as the eye could see :)
