Congratulations, both to you and this lucky merchant who's gonna have a bunch of new customers rolling in for the new year!
Question, Geno: About those links, do they have to be banners and/or text links, or can they be individual product links (with photo) made with that nifty SAS tool?

The "nifty SaS tool" (for those that don't know what she's talking about, it is - the Make-A-Page tool that ShareASale provides within each affiliate account) wouldn't work for this program yet as we do not have the KKBK's datafeed uploaded. So, for now - text links or banners, WW.

Not the makeapage Geno, the one I'm referring to is the one that has the capability to create an individual link to any page or product on a site, with either a graphic or a text link. The one I mean is at the bottom of the list for making links, it's called "Create a Custom Link to a Page."
You know, for some reason I read the first post meaning to put up 11 links, which is why I asked. Duh! I will anyway, have 2 sites to update.

Whatever 2 links you put up (as long as they are quality ones) is fine with me. Just PM, IM or e-mail the URLs to me. I will then look at them and let you know if they are fine. ;)

Awwwwh I definitely agree with you. That is soooo sweet :approval: Just applied. I'll save ya an email and tell ya something real quick you'll like hearing:) Was on my news tonight. A young teenage girl wounded in that shooting a while back in Russia that had been left paralyzed (not sure if just her arm or not) but it evidently caused problems with her heart, too. Doctor was talking with her parents and said the surgery was successful:approval::veryhappy They did bypass surgery too and doctor said the heart reacted to the surgery immediately.:huge:
ok.....back to subject of your post.

back to subject of your post. Back to the subject, I did the two and then grabbed some product links and put them up this afternoon. Not bad at all once you get into the rhythm of it and remember to right click and "copy the shortcut" to make the link instead of clicking over and copying and pasting the URL from the address bar like I used to.
Plus, went digging around some more and found some stuff I *really* need for a site as replacement for a discontinued product line - it's just been a wasted page. Some cute little products at KKB are exactly what's needed and the price is great on them.

webworker, would appreciate if you can further define the above quote. I always click over, copy and paste for all my links. Anything wrong with that?
Thanks

webworker, would appreciate if you can further define the above quote. I always click over, copy and paste for all my links. Anything wrong with that?Richard, there's nothing wrong with it, and that's the way I've done it in the past - but copying the shortcut instead saves wrist action and reduces the number of clicks, and when doing several links at once it can be a comfortable convenience to streamline the process.
The longer way (in Internet Explorer):
1. Click on the product link (gets you to the target landing page)
2. Click in the browser address bar to highlight the URL for the landing page
3. Click on the right mouse button
4. Click on "copy" in the right mouse menu
5. Click back to the SAS linking tool (in another browser window)
6. Click paste to insert the target URL in the "form"
7. Click to make the SAS custom link (the same either way)
8. Click back to main product page from the target page on the merchant's site to get the next product link.
The shorter way:
1. Right click on the product link (that leads to the landing page)
2. Left click on "Copy shortcut" in the right click menu that will have popped up (the target URL is now on the Windoze clipboard)
3. Click back to the SAS linking tool (in another browser window)
4. Click paste to insert the target URL in the "form"
5. Click to make the SAS custom link
See, you stay on that same category page for getting all the product links on the merchants site, without having to click back and forth. From then on it's the same, but when making several links at a time, those extra clicks start to add up - especially when doing both a text link and an image link for each product.
I'm using an extra browser window because I'll grab the URL for the image and pop it into my Dreamweaver page, type in my text link and then when I make my SAS custom link I can do a one-two paste the product URL link into the image and text link real quick . One two and I'm through, except for adding the image alt text.
For the product category page that shows the merchant's product thumbnails, I still copy and paste the URL from the address bar because it's right there (never leaving the page like with the long way), but that's one time compared to 3, 6, 9 or 12 products per page.
Added - this is what I mean by the merchant's category page:
Nine products on that page alone, so the old longer way, you'd be clicking back and forth nine times to the individual product pages to fetch the URL for the link - instead of right clicking and grabbing the URL while staying on the category page the whole time. That's 3 extra clicks for each link - 27 extra clicks for just that page.

Wonderful!! Can't wait to see her sign up!

Mufn, you may never have another chance of getting a close to 50% commission boost (from 7% to 10%) with this program! On 1/1/2007 we are returning back to the 7% for all sign-ups... A sign up and two links take what?... 5 mins? Probably... Yet, the commissions you'll reap for the lifetime will be close to 50% larger than your average Joe's commission! ;)
