I went to college with someone who is from an agency and she will be at AFF Summit. I don;t think she is on these baords. Anyways I want to get into shape as best as I can before Aff Summit, so would anyone want to try a biggest looser type contest?
we can submit a current photo and weight NOT ON THIS BOARD BUT IN PRIVATE and then we'll see who looses the most? if you would want we could each pitch in $5.00 and the biggest looser gets the pot. Sound fun?

Many views, no takers... I will be dropping some weight by then, but if you guys went by a picture of me, I'd win hands down. I always look WAY heavier in pictures for some reason.
It ruined me in Hollywood. Well, that was one of the reasons.

20 lbs between now and then?
wow (he says eating nachos)
I'd take a pic myself, but my camera doesn't have that many pixels.
I need to start and the summit would be a good motivator (as if my meeting with the doctor wasnt enough already). I was planning on procrastinating until the 3rd.

mmmmmmmmm nachos, nahh I started my diet lastweek and have been doing the gym 4 nights a week now for the last three and dropped a few pounds. Dieting stinks but is starting to pay off =0)
Nachos willl definitely end up being my pleasure food for the weekend though, and pizza.

Hmm, can it be done by body fat %?
I'd actually like to gain weight by losing some gut pounds and gaining some muscle.

sure if you know how to measure that, but I don;t think it is going to happen since noone else was interested, or at least said they were/are.

Easy, just use a body fat bathroom scale (http://www.scalesetc.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5&products_id=13)
[/blatant plug that I just couldn't resist]
but I don;t think it is going to happen since noone else was interested,Probably nobody wants to admit to the "before" weight or body fat. I know *mine* is Classified!
And, of course, there would be the matter of verification of both the before and after, and other such logistics.

It's the digital cameras they have nowadays. They make you look much bigger than you actually are.

Rumour has it anything more than 2lbs a week is unhealthy weight loss and unsustainable in most cases.
with 4 wks to go, I'd bargain (if i were you) to lose a max of 6-8lbs by the Affiliate Summit unless you are talking about AS East in June or July.
That might be more reasonable.
Drink lots of water and count inches and % body fat more than lbs - my trainer keeps telling me not to worry about Lbs so much so just passing on the advice (and it's free to you!). :)
Best of luck - it's all in how you feel anyhow and remember, we are our own worst critics... :)
Ditto what Leader said by the way - *CLASSIFIED*!! LOL
No, there is no prize for closest guess either. What do you think this is, a jellybean guessing contest? LOL

How about we weigh in when we register at the conference and then when its over. Whoever was able to lose weight can win the $5 each we put up to enter. Wonder if anyone will win!!

Another forum I belong to is doing this, but of course I am not participating! It is a local (non-affiliate) forum, so people actually see the before and afters in person.
I actually just received my new Weight Watchers books today. I used it in the past, after my first son and lost a lot of weight...about 60 pounds! I have my journals and I show an average loss of 10 pounds a month. I just gave birth to my second son in October...so now it is time to get moving!
