loxly January 4th, 2007, 02:16 AM For the month of January get an extra 3% commission on all Venetian Mirrors sold! Hit the Make A Page and get these babies up and running! Danny K January 4th, 2007, 12:27 PM An extra 3% is a significant add in revenue with many of the Venetian Mirrors. We've made up some page templates of the venentian mirrors. (attached) Instructions: 1. unzip/extract the files and save the .html files to a directory on your system. 2. open the .html files in a text notepad or HTML Editor and do a "Find and Replace" for !!USERID!! replacing it with your affiliate ID at ShareASale. 3. save the file. 4. You are all set to make new .html pages, add your graphics and navigation or other various ways of publishing them with all the links trackable. If you have questions please feel free to ask us. Note: You can make these same pages in other sizes and numbers by logging into (http://www.shareasale.com/shareasale.cfm?merchantID=11284) your SAS affiliate Account and going to the "Make A Page" link in the "Tools" menu where you can get different sizes and or eliminate the need to do a "find and replace" because they will all be coded for your account automatically. All the best, Danny K January 4th, 2007, 01:48 PM Here are a couple links to mirrors that are selling at a higher rate for you to feature. Dahlia Venetian Mirror http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?B=73462&U=!!USERID!!&M=11284 Marella Venetian Mirror http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?B=73461&U=!!USERID!!&M=11284 :warning: (Replace !!USERID!! with your SAS affiliate code) Banners: There are also two small banners available so far here: http://www.shareasale.com/a-getmerchantcode.cfm?merchantID=11284&category=Mirrors%20-%20Banners Arizona Deb January 11th, 2007, 01:21 AM Hey guys! I just joined your program. Great to work with Danny again. Dude, you are such a great help! Thanks for the tip. I added the mirrors ... wish I had a couple of my own! Debbie, I don't know you yet, but I will soon. Thanks for accepting me into your program. Wish me luck! Danny K January 11th, 2007, 01:34 AM YEEAS!!! - Thanks very much for your post Arizona Deb. Much Appreciated. It's A pleasure to hand over whatever we find. Your first page looks wonderful. I love checking your work out. I was hoping you would join us :) Arizona Deb January 11th, 2007, 01:49 AM OMG, what the heck are you guys doing up at this time of night??? You both are amazing! Do you know me, Debbie ... or just through Danny? I know you run Cafe Press, right? I had several accounts there many yrs ago, but lost my login info and haven't been back in ages. Thx for checking my page, Danny. You are a good guy ... loxly January 11th, 2007, 01:54 AM OMG, what the heck are you guys doing up at this time of night??? You both are amazing! Thx for checking my page, Danny. You are a good guy ... Deb, I am on the west coast now, so not as late as it may seem :) I am in Las Vegas, you should come up for a visit while Danny is here for Affiliate Summit. I no longer run CafePress' affiliate program, I am an independent Affiliate Manager/Consultant. I watched your posts in the Rockler forum way back when and always appreciated your contributions and comments :) Arizona Deb January 11th, 2007, 01:58 AM Duh, I am so 'out of the loop' ... Didn't know you left the press. Since Danny left Rockler, I haven't been around here much. Just lurking now and then. But now that he's back ... I'm back! No Vegas for me. But have a great time. Arizona Deb January 12th, 2007, 12:16 PM Debbie or Danny, HELP! I am having trouble with the 'create a page' feature on SAS. I can't seem to get this feature to work for me! I am trying to find these best selling Venetian Mirrors on this page: http://www.homelivingstyle.com/Mirrors_s/370.htm I have tried all kinds of search terms, but the only one that delivers is the single word "venetian". Problem is that the ones on the page mentioned don't show up in the results. What am I doing wrong? Arizona Deb January 12th, 2007, 01:36 PM Danny, A link you posted earlier looked like this: http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?B=73461&U=!!USERID!!&M=11284 In contrast, with SAS create a page a link looks like this: http://www.shareasale.com/m-pr.cfm?merchantID=11284&userID=!!USERID!!&productID=455823311 Why the difference, and where did you get that code you posted? loxly January 12th, 2007, 02:27 PM Hey Deb, we can create code in the back end to make the shorter links. If you need specific ones, email Danny and he'll get them made up for you :) Either type of link will work. Arizona Deb January 12th, 2007, 02:43 PM That's great. I will wait to see what he can offer me. What about my other question about the 'create a page' and the Venetian mirrors? I just made a bunch of links by 'linking to any page', but i am looking for a 'quick fix' :) loxly January 12th, 2007, 02:45 PM I am updating the datafeed to reflect the most current stock. Will be ready probably Monday :) Arizona Deb January 12th, 2007, 02:49 PM When I first looked at these products in HLS, I thought the prices would scare off my visitors. One mirror for $2,500.00!!! Holy cow! But then yesterday I sold a $2,000 Sjoberg bench ... (woodcraft!) so now I am not so worried about my shoppers... loxly January 12th, 2007, 03:35 PM We have had some nice sized affiliate sales. Furniture sells well in Q1... Danny K January 12th, 2007, 03:49 PM Yeah, I noticed the same thing when I was making pages. The Search algorythm in the SAS is not the same and sometimes does not pick up all the products that apply. It might come up with the fresh data. I will look for the specific ones and email them to you. Did I screw up and forget to clean out the tracking code on a link I posted? Shame on me. :toasted: Won't happen again. Arizona Deb January 12th, 2007, 03:55 PM ... Did I screw up and forget to clean out the tracking code on a link I posted? Shame on me. :toasted: Won't happen again. 'Tracking code'??? what code? let me know 'cause i copied it and probably used it on my pages ... loxly January 12th, 2007, 04:01 PM lol... LINKS ARE FINE.... just replace !!USERID!! with your Shareasale ID. Danny K January 12th, 2007, 04:15 PM oh, It's fine. They are just different because they are in a different directory. Ya scared me there for sec.. lol. Okay I will make text links for those pages. You get them Here: http://www.shareasale.com/a-getmerchantcode.cfm?merchantID=11284&category=Mirrors%20-%20Text (login first) There is a "shortest link" to copy for each one if you are building your own tags. Danny K January 12th, 2007, 05:44 PM Okay, I am about half way through the first page of Most Popular Venetian Mirrors. I will get the first page at least. There is a new category: Mirrors - Text - Most Popular (http://www.shareasale.com/a-getmerchantcode.cfm?merchantID=11284&category=Mirrors%20-%20Text%20-%20Most%20Popular) Then we will work on some dynamic and see if we can give you some pics. And the box. :D We'll figure it out. Arizona Deb January 12th, 2007, 06:41 PM Okay, I am about half way through the first page of Most Popular Venetian Mirrors. I will get the first page at least. I would just like to know how to easily create these codes on the fly ... so to speak, without having to use the SAS back office. I think the custom link (to any page) code works best for me at this point in time.
