I'm coming in on Friday with the rest of Schaaf Consulting (Brook and Forrest) - I know we're going to be having a little pow wow on Friday but Saturday night, if you're interested we're helping host the affiliate summit dinner at the casino in Bally's (I think drinks are at 6:30, dinner at 7:30) if you're looking for something fun to do. Patrick! This is Vegas, Man! Town does not come alive until midnight. That's why all rooms have dark drapes.

But you are correct, most folks from the East will be ready for bed. When I flew in to Vegas in November I got in at 8:00 AM that day, which meant I had to get up at about 4:00 Central time to get to the airport for my plane. Ended up staying awake about 21 hours that first day. This time I'm not coming in until noonand sleeping in that morning so I can easily stay up late.

There's something about Vegas air, you just don't get tired like you would back home. I remember going to bed at 4am last Summit... which would be 7am back home... and not really feeling all that tired.

Of course, the effect adds up and you're a bag of dirt once you fly home! :)

I usually keep Vegas hours when I am there. Wakeup at 11. Breakfast at 12. Lunch at 4. Snack later. Get to bed by 3. Sometimes I lay down as the sun comes us. But as I get old those types of days get harder and harder.

I am going to have to behave and get some decent sleep if I am going to be absorbing everything on that merchant track.

I always liked the America restaraunt at NYNY. Huge 3d map of the US, and the food is not bad.

And I'll propose noon or noonish on Saturday.
