Glass.net offers customers who need to replace auto glass (front windshield, side, or rear) a comparative shopping experience. Glass.net has contracted with local glass shops across the US to compete for customers business. The local glass shops are ranked by a number of criteria (Price, services, features, and a quality ranking score) that are displayed to the consumer. The consumer then can make an educated decision about not only the price of the replacement service, but also their quality and additional benefits. The customer is free to use his/her insurance with any of shops or if preferable, pay out of pocket.

The affiliate program has recently been re-launched with a significantly improved offer. Glass.net pays $1 per unique customer quote set (the three quotes requiring no personal information) and $12 for a unique lead (requires personal contact information). This increased offer is an introductory offer only. After the introductory period, the program will maintain a three tiered system with increasing payouts as well as bonuses.

GlassNetAM is a buddy of mine and no newbie to affiliate marketing. His name is Ryan Ewer and he was a stellar manager for Ancestry.com's affiliate program. Their affiliates spoke highly of Ryan who went on to move his family to Britian for two years where he set up their UK affiliate program. Ryan understands affiliates especially search affiliates and we plan to write a white paper on the success he had with that program.

We have had quite a few questions on the new Program launch and what we mean by "Quotes" and "Leads". We are a comparison automotive glass site that offers consumers the ability to initially enter in make, model, year, ZIP code, and glass type and get three local quotes for windshield replacement in their area. The consumer can then select one of the glass shops and directly schedule the replacement. This service is relevant to both those paying for the service out of pocket as well as those looking to use their insurance to cover the repair costs.

For our affiliates this equates to two opportunities to generate commissions.
1) A quote (you can either send traffic to our site to complete the initial form, or you can host an HTML banner that will submit the necessary info to us) will give you a $1 commission
2) If the consumer fills out the lead form, requiring only: First name, Last name, Email, and Phone number then a $12 commission is paid out.

We realize that a consumer may be shopping around a bit and therefore have set our return days to 90.

We are looking for ways to incorporate phone sales into our affiliate program so look for that in the near future.
