This Friday MadHatter is getting on a plane for an 11 hour flight to the Netherlands! :airplane: I know there are some affiliates that are local to the area and I would absolute LOVE to meet up with you!! Send me a PM or email or on here.

If your going on KLM they'll give you a little ceramic house filled with genever (gin), they are collectible.
Safe trip, try the hopjes (candy).

Yes, we are actually staying there and making some day trips elsewhere, among Anne Frank's House, Rembrandt museum, and Van Gogh Museum, locally.

Someday I hope to charter a boat and be able to cruise the channels. I go searching for sites about it when I'm in a dreaming mood. (sigh)

WOW! Is it amazing here. We have been here a little over 24 hours and all I can say is WOW!
We got here about 11 am yesterday which is about 5 am home time and went and got some lunch and walked around some of the shops and such until our hotel room was ready. We were so tired we were wallking around in a daze, and almost got ran over by a few bikes and a trolley. LOL.
We went and slept for a few hours and woke up about 7ish and had an amazing dinner at our hotel. After dinner we walked through Dam Sqaure and hit our first canal and saw some red light shops that are outside of the red light district. It was the wildest thing.
It's rainy and cold here, but no where near as cold as back home. The shops just opened about an hour ago (everything is closed until noon on Sundays), and we are completely recouped, at least I hope. Off to lunch! Update later ;) .

We are officially back after taking 3 days to make it all the way home! Tired and lots to catch up on but well worth it!
I have some pics that I will post later when I have a bit more time.
I do want to Thank Scott Cambell for meeting with us for dinner during our layover! It was wonderful and great to see you and catch up with you again!
Came here to catch up a bit and thought I would have a billion posts but, it only said 178 ... lol ... guess I will hunt them down later :smash:
