(From Wikipedia)

Culver City is a city in western Los Angeles County, California. As of the 2000 census, the city had a population of 38,816. The community is mostly surrounded by the city of Los Angeles but also has a border with unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County. The current mayor is Gary Silbiger.

Since the 1920s, Culver City has been a significant center for motion picture and later television production, in part because it was the home of MGM Studios. It also was the headquarters for the Hughes Aircraft Company from the 1930s to the 1980s. National Public Radio West and Sony Pictures Entertainment now have headquarters in the city.

Culver City is the answer I was looking for.

Nice town. Howard liked it A LOT.

The South Bay Curves on the 405 would be a deal breaker for me.

Hope that you find a local candidte.

Culver City is an autonomous district of the LA County, but it's really as Central as can be in LA! Our office is a couple of blocks from the Sony Pictures Studio, 10 minutes from Venice Beach (West), 10 minutes from LAX airport (South West), 15 minutes from Hollywood (North East) or Beverly Hills (North), 10 minutes from Downtown (East). Easy access to the 405 and the 10 make it a very easy commute wherever you live.

Sorry about that. I need to start wearing my contacts or glasses to work again and reading more carefully.
