Ok, I *promise* not to post every little thing that makes me go "wow" about living in Las Vegas, but today was a perfect June day.... lol... for the east coast. It's March 13th and we went to a park and had a bbq and not only didn't wear coats, but were in tank tops and shorts!!!! I'm not gloating, I am astonished....

I know you folks that live on the west coast and in the south are probably thinking, "what's the big deal"... it wasn't this nice last year in San Mateo, so this really is my first warm winter. And we went from "winter" right into "summer" there is no spring, lol.

Yup, can't beat the weather out here. Last couple weeks were great, but now we're moving into the extreme heat. Forecast says 99 in Palm Springs this Friday. This is when I start wishing I lived by the ocean.

There isn't a pic of me, back east I *rarely* wore tank tops and I was in one! It has been 90 here the past couple of days. I know extreme heat is on the way, I moved here after that time of year so haven't experienced it yet, but I am loving it!

When I went to take the t top off the car, I burned my hand!!!! Time to start keeping it in the garage and out of the sun :)

Was in the 70's here this week in the Midwest. Love it. Been driving my old VW's all week. Itching to get to work on them...wife is buying me a welder for my birthday today. Hope someone else buys me a fire extinguisher! :speechles
