There are some very infected programs out there and big advertisers losing money hand over fist.

What a lot of people get mixed up with is the sales from spyware are generally not incremental sales so all you actually end up doing is robbing Peter to pay Paul.

In a lot of cases the sales you would have got anyway through other marketing channels can be cannabalized and you end up paying out for them twice.

Then theres your genuine affiliates who lose sales and think your program has a much lower epc than it really would have .

When you look at the bigger picture and realize that if you didnt have the spyware in your program you would not only have the same sales volume but through the right people , you would also have more margin to play with to reward your genuine affiliates with more commission - more commission tends to translate into more sales

Bump - the Health checks seemed popular so we extended them out and have been providing them for some of the Big brands we met when out in NYC recently - with some interesting results!!
