This is for a dedicated affiliate manager... please NO CONSULTANTS.

I have a new client in Toronto looking for someone in the states to run their Affiliate program. Apparently, the owner of this company has done so well, he is looking to retire (down in the Bahamas or somewhere) and wants nothing to do with Affiliate responsibilities. I've talked to a number of CPA networks about the site's potential and they all believe that with the right manager, the publisher's potential to skyrocket through the roof is incredible. With the right affiliate manager, this could be a VERY lucrative position. Right now, they are willing to pay between $60-$90 with a very respectable commission structure. :dollarsig

Let me know if anyone is interested in hearing more about this by sending over a resume/profile to the contact info below...

Manager should be abbreviated as Mgr. The way you have your title set up it sounds as if you are looking to hire a MAN.

Just saying. :D

Not to mention Out-Office sounds like Out-house, what -- it's got a fax paper instead of TP?

A quick course on terminology could help. ;)

From the initial post, I assume this is not a "traditional" etailer, but probably a CPA offer or "dubious product" merchant? If this is not the case, it would probably help to mention the industry or product niche involved.

MONEY.... maybe you can figure it out... They were mentioned on Oprah and Maury...

I've talked to a number of CPA networks about the site's potential and they all believe that with the right manager, the publisher's potential to skyrocket through the roof is incredible. Did any in-house managers offer to work this program themselfs? I am surprised by that since if you spoke to someone within the network, and they see such a potential, that they themself would not jump on it and offer to manage it for you.

You mention "no consultants", but also say "client in Toronto looking for someone in the states" and also say "to retire (down in the Bahamas or somewhere"

Maybe just me and a little confused, but if you can't find and in-house manager it looks like you really need ( Out Sourced Program Managers (http://forum.abestweb.com/forumdisplay.php?f=236))

While I'm in your "excluded" category (since I am a consultant), I still think you're not going to get any meaningful resumes here so long as you keep "hiding the ball" and not actually identifying what industry or offer type is involved. Your reply that it's about "money" is not limiting in any way, and reinforces my initial assumption that this is something "dubious." Mentioning that this "money thing" has already been promoted on Maury and Oprah is also less than helpful -- if it's already been on the talk-show circuit, this may be an opportunity that's already "peaked."

I respect that you're working to avoid breaking the ABW rules about promoting a specific company or service, but I think you're doing yourself and your client a disservice by "hiding the ball" so completely.

The biggest risk you face, I think, is that there are other folks out there promoting opportunities in a similar way who are "scam artists" -- in the past, I've followed up on similar opportunities only to learn that it's really a "business opportunity" or a "business for sale," requiring a large investment for a dubious opportunity. Since I'm sure you're not a scam artist, I think you should try to avoid the "hide the ball" tactics that they use.

Alriiiight alriiiight jeaze... lol... my client DID say I could mention the name... but I want people who are interested in hearing more to contact me directly before I give the name...
I realize your point about being dubious, but I don't know how else to help out... How about this... the site has to do with $$$ unclaimed money $$$. Can you figure it out? No?

Contact me at my email below and I will tell you everything you need AS WELL AS be more than happy to give you the actual site...

This is not a comment directed just at you Michael, just helping you out, but for other possible future "affiliate manager / consultant" recruiters to ABW too.

I think it is safe to say that I think most OPMs do not really send out 'resumes' and think most affiliate managers might not just send out 'resumes' and personal info without first really knowing more of the merchant or vertical and so on. Also think it is safe to say that with just a small mention of the vertical or company name would not break any ABW rules, but if you are not sure a simple small cost paid announcement (http://www.abestweb.com/advertising/) will be the best startup investment made on ABW.

Demby,

BTW, I'd also suggest writing less cryptically ... maybe use a template and take as few liberties as possible when filling it in, because it's hard to understand your 'accent' ;)
