Account Manager/Sr. Account Manager

Job Description:

The Account Manager will be part of a sales team and responsible for coordinating the launch of advertising campaigns, managing client relationships through day-to-day contact with the client, looking for opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell clients, assisting with prospecting, ensuring clients receive superior customer service, and renewing accounts. This individual will be involved in managing all aspects of campaigns in accordance with the objectives of clients and revenue goals.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

§ Manage daily contact with clients within assigned industry vertical

§ Provide superior customer service via creativity, responsiveness, and strong interpersonal skills

§ Coordinate with designated Account Executive and Sales Director to provide information regarding the status of campaigns

§ Provide campaign reporting to clients

§ Qualify leads and prospective new clients

§ Assist in the creation of proposals and presentations

§ Prepare strategies for up-selling and cross-selling existing clients

§ Obtain performance metrics from the client to reconcile delivery and billing

§ Communicate with Agencies, Clients, Sales, Operations, and Publisher Distribution

§ Control to ensure timely and accurate campaign launch, delivery, and invoicing



Required Skills:

§ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

§ Outstanding telephone skills

§ Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and clients

§ Ability to maintain own work flow and meet deadlines

§ Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

§ Outstanding customer service skills

§ Ability to respond to frequent pressure to meet deadlines when work speed and sustained accuracy are paramount

§ Ability to respond to frequent demands of multiple customers (internal and external)

§ Ability to work effectively as part of a vertical team



Required Experience:

§ Bachelors degree (preferably in Business/ Marketing/ Communications/ Advertising/ Economics)

§ Persistent personality with an aptitude for sales

§ Proven track record of obtaining and exceeding quotas

§ Familiarity with the Internet media landscape and online marketing

§ 3-4 years of sales/account management/client services
