Was just reading an article in the Chicago Tribune about plus-size prom dresses. I thought this was an interesting statistic:
"One in five teens is plus-size. And 62% of women, which includes some high school seniors, wear size 14 or larger"
Additionally, the article notes that these plus-size teens are not wallflowers. On the flipside, they're very fashion-conscious and do a lot of their shopping online.
62%!! That's a lot of demand to tap into!

yeah, I have some reseach on plus size shopping behavior too. They are great customers and people, they just don't shop for clothing and lingerie as often. :confused2 They are willing to spend the money on quality that comes in thier size I noticed.
Just wondering, why haven't there been any more posts about them and thier program? None in 2008

As Carolyn mentioned, I am now working on this program as well. Carolyn and Sarah have done a great job, and from my point of view I am simply being added to the team to work with all of you to build the program. That actually becomes official tomorrow, though I have been working on it quite a bit already. I have contracted with Asif at GoldenCan to provide free integration to you. I was just testing it when this invitation to post came in. I will officially announce it very soon. Starting within a few days, I will also have our product datafeed updated twice per month.
I've been running multiple affiliate programs as far back as 1998, and I will do everything I can to help build this one. Of the many merchants I have worked with, I believe this has the best conversion rate of all. In addition, as was mentioned by Sarah in the post in the HipsAndCurves ABW thread on "Change in management," Rebecca, the CEO, is fabulous to work with!
