Hi all. We're trying to set up a pub night for Affiliate Marketers in the Ottawa area. So far, there's been some pretty good interest.
[Removed (see below)]
The idea is drinks and snacks somewhere on the Byward Market with a tentative date of May 25th. Any here interested in attending? Some of you have emailed that you'd attend. I ask that you please officially register just so we can keep better track of who and how many are attending.
Please help spread the word. :)

Bumped to "Events or Gatherings" ?!?!?
I guess that'll kill any possible ABW attendance. :(

It's where it belongs, would you rather I delete it?

My point is that it's a dead section of the forum, so no one will see it, which kind of defeats the purpose of posting the invite. No one from Ottawa will realistically search this section of the board hoping to find an Ottawa gathering since it's a smallish group and to my knowledge there's never been such an event here. I mean even this post...

...for NYC got only 20 views and no replies in this sub-forum. The only chance of getting the word out to Ottawa ABW'ers would be in a frequently read section of the forum, like Midnight Cafe which I thought caters to pretty much any topic.
So yeah, by all means move the post to wherever you feel it fits best. It is your board afterall, and you do have a sub-forum specifically for gatherings. It just happens it's reader limbo here.

Reader limbo? WTF? Can't you see post tallies?
The thread [above this one] for my dinner tonight has over 318 replies and over 5,880 views and that is after I split off 20 or so useless posts.
The couple of day old Toronto dinner thread has 5 replies and 53 views.
Ron's Lunch in Chicago ... Ehhhh Forget it, I'll just edit the link and close the thread, because the "placement" of the free advertising for MaxBounty obviously isn't "good enough" for Mr. Sauve.
