Established in 2000, Mobile Messenger is a global mobile entertainment enabler. As an industry leader in Australia and the USA, the company is a fast moving, young, and dynamic team.
Mobile Messenger facilitates all aspects of mobile phone entertainment from concept, creative, delivery, technology, billing, customer service to analysis. We have dedicated teams of Engineers, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Sales/Account Management, Support and Product Development.
We currently have offices in Los Angeles and Sydney and are expanding operations into New Zealand and Canada. We pride ourselves on having a strong focus on the development of our staff and through our continued success we are looking for driven, focused and dedicated professionals to join our expanding Culver City team.
Responsible for account management of Mobile Messengers US clients. Working closely with clients to manage their campaigns and grow their business.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Account Management:
Ensure current clients are looked after and all their expectations are met within a timely manner
Ensure clients details, contracts, opportunities and communication is stored and fully maintained in company database which utilise Sales force software
Be responsive to clients requests and needs and look for opportunities to go one step further than these requests to provide a great experience
Develop strong business relationships with clients through regular contact and professional and honest communication
Ensure that all current clients work with the US operator and mobile industry rules and regulations that are current
Provide weekly analysis of revenue achieved
Ensure client expenditure is valid and justified and that clients are rewarded fro performance beyond the normal business results
Promote new products & services to clients and take responsibility for revenue growth
Build Market Knowledge:
Gather and analyse data from clients to identify Market Knowledge Gaps
Know all your clients business models inside out. Advertising spend versus Revenue (ROI) for each advertising channel, average value per customer, bad debt statistics etc
Know the current market size for the different revenue generating application categories and predict their market size growth in the future so we can accurately calculate and chase revenue growth in the appropriate areas
Capture these learnings on regular basis from clients and other industry players to ensure information is always up to date and from reliable source
Ensure current clients see you as the market knowledge experts so they are motivated by your knowledge to build appropriate services
Key Contacts
Establish strong working relationships internally with all departments and managers, other co-members within the company and suppliers/clients.
Requirements
Essential Skills/Attributes
3- 5 years sales, account management or business development experience
Great communication skills and relationship management prowess
Ability to remain focused and manage own time and resources
Ability to think quickly on feet and understand both sides of a commercial opportunity
Work well under pressure and remain calm and professional
Ability to work in start up fluid environment
It is essential that this person is a highly self-motivated
Continually look to improve process and profitability of services
Desirable
Ability to manage multiple client campaigns and issues simultaneously
· Affiliate Management/Development experience
Well developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a highly international team
He/she has ideally worked in the wireless / mobile content / online content / media & entertainment industries, preferably with some tenure in management
Experienced in the Premium Mobile Services industry
Market Research (including reporting, e.g. market trends) experience
***Bilingual in Spanish/English Preferred
